  1. He hasnt all of a sudden turned into Barkley or Robinson. He is an above average NFL back that has a OL that is jelling. BJ and Beiniemy has lit a fire under him and he is productive. With the threat of a good passing game, the other teams arent loading the box to stop the run. Now if Monangai takes off, we have the two back game DJ is looking for. Caleb gets his act together and we have the offense BJ wants to see. We are scoring over 21 points in every game. I cant wait to see where that goes once the offense goes into cruise mode. Every game takes on its own script. Balt is dangerous because they are 1-5, had the bye week and getting some injured players back. I expect it to be a close game and we have a chance to win, but this is a must win for the Ravens . That may be the edge they need. IF we stay physical and can run the ball, we will stay in every game from here out.
  2. Exactly with quicker recognition and accuracy. Better decision making would help to . Several of those throwaways he could have run. These are the same issues Fields had, but Caleb have shown to be better than that. What bothered me was he was always good at throwing on the run, and Im not sure he hit one of those passes. I am the thumbs up guy so Im all in but this year will determine his being great or being average. The rest of the year will tell the story.
  3. I disagree, I think if we get less penalties and Caleb improves his % to his average 62% we will stay close. After two losses, people were saying we have no identity and that was true. Now after the bye week we found it. Run the ball and play the run defense better. The TOs are huge and as much as we struggle to get sacks we are putting enough pressure to force some of those TOs. I think most games are going to go down to the wire because whether we great play from the QB or not, we are reliant on the run game to set the tempo. The play action is the key to improve the QB play. Caleb is still making bad choices, he is honing in on one target and missing other open players. When he holds the ball he is great at avoiding the sack but needs to get in position to see the dump off target. Several times he could have run and moved to buy time to throw down field. When he holds the ball to long, it allows the coverage to catch up to his target. I remember one throw to DJ over the middle, the announcers said DJ took to long to look at the ball. The ball was 3 ft behind him. Had Caleb led the WR, the ball would have been where the WR eyes were fixed. I find it interesting that our hope for the future is a high end QB, yet in Doug Buffone speak, run the ball and stop the run is what has got us to 4 wins.
  4. I guess now we understand why they didnt go get another RB. The OL is starting tp jell. If we are consistent with the run game and keep getting TOs, we have a playoff run in our future.
  5. Now that we are running the ball the passing is inconsistent.
  6. Byard had another pick and DuShon knocked it out of his hands.
  7. Rattler has looked pretty good. Its tough to go 80 yards to score.
  8. Caleb use to be great at throwing on the move, now he sucks. A few times he should have just run and just keeps dancing in the pocket. Theo not having a good day.
  9. We're fine as long as Caleb gets his act together. The late TD make me choke a little bit.
  10. We keep getting pounded by bad calls. At least we are playing well enough to overcome them.
  11. Gordon and Edwards back has made this defense relevant again.
  12. I think we can say our running game has arrived. Kyle looks like a keeper and Swift has showed up 2 games in a row.
  13. Is it okay to say blowout now? NO is not a good enough team to come back.
  14. Caleb still making bad decisions. I would have thought he would be farther along with BJ as his coach.
  15. That interference in Colston was the worst penalty I seen all yr. He sat down in his route, facing the QB and they call a penalty on him for the DB running into him.
  16. I think you are exactly right, this team wants to bury them for DA.
  17. Even thou our offense is sketchy, is it okay yet to say BlowOut?
  18. When need to keep running the ball and take our shots with Caleb.
  19. Up and down, but will say the TOs keep coming.
  20. Everything is on tape and the NFL brass need to call out the bad decisions and see if it keeps happening to certain refs. I wonder if the demotion penalty means they do Bear games.
  21. I think in 5 years this group is going to be looked at as a great QB draft. Daniels is still the probable best QB drafted that year. Maye is taking a giant step forward and Caleb is not far behind. I think the star comes out late in games when the top QBs do their thing. Caleb has that, he just needs to clean up his accuracy and decision making which BJ came here to do.
  22. The halftime is an entertainment show and I dont watch it to be cultured. If I like the artist, I'll watch it, if I dont I wont.
  23. The Bears brought in 2 players for a workout today. A LH punter ??? and Jamal Williams/RB. Heard the Saints have a Left foot punter and maybe want the punt returner to get practice against that (different spin on the ball) also William could slide in if they have decided Roschon Johnson isnt up to par anymore.
