  1. We can forget the names Flowers and Cook, giving up catches.
  2. So far the middle seems to be holding up but the edge is allowing pressure
  3. Kyle can carry a load if needed, frontline starters would make him look better.
  4. Lots of players we can watch, looking for standouts, so far Sewell making plays. Preseason matters for depth, the rest is inmaterial.
  5. It seems like other teams have more injuries than we do but JJ, Gordon and Shemar Turner will have an impact if not back.
  6. This kid just kicked a 70 yard field goal https://youtube.com/shorts/3l4l4MKtroA?si=jvShppIk9c6Js5Xw
  7. Does anyone else find joy in watching the Packers lose? Its a preseason game and doesnt matter but I just like to see them play bad. Defense wasnt good, first team offense couldnt move the ball and their vaulted WR corp drop balls all over the place.
  8. Finally all the comedians are showing their faces.
  9. I would say with a push mower (non self propeled) mowing 4 acres would great for the body.
  10. I think DA is using Edmunds better than Flus did. Terrell was a beast in Buffalo and can meet his paycheck with DA using him to add to the blitz. Byard mentioned Eligah Hicks and for a late round pick has always played well in a backup role. Our back 7 has a lot of depth. Sewell is showing up. In his Jr year in college he was a huge stat getter and just needed DA to get him up to speed. The defense has taken a back seat to the showcase of offense but we have several leaders on this team. Jarrett and Dayo are attitude guys and Shemar Turner is exactly that as soon as he's back. Sweat is looking like the beast he was in 2023 when he came here.
  11. Let me say, plumbing for 50 yrs, I have been knocked out several times and have brain fog which is also a part of getting old, its your body changing chemically as we age. Hopefully it didnt have a huge impact on your brain and wish you well. Health is a controled state that eating better and paying attention to it helps as we age. A hard physical job beat my body up but internally I am very healthy for 73. Read alot about health and stay active, but Im sure you are an active person. You seem to have a busy life.
  12. We have to credit DA for the aggressive physical football being back. Jarrett is an attitude guy who pushes other players. Byard has always been that player but the dysfuncion last year didnt allow him to show up all the time. Montez is looking like the first year he got here with his quickness and attitude. Like AZ said, Turner is the perfect fit , I hope he gets on the field before the season starts. And Brisker is healthy and sticks it in your face.
  13. We have our dominate pass rusher on the team. Sweat had 2 sacks and constant pressure. After an injury riddled last year he came to camp with a chip on his shoulder and in the best shape he has ever been in. He has been noticed by BJ having mentioned Sweat several times during practices. Remember he goes against Darrnell Wright on a regular basis, not a Larry Boron type of player. Im calling 12-14 sacks this year.
  14. I knew this was going to happen. Rashawn Slater got injured with the Chargers and now people are trying to trade Braxton Jones to LA.
  15. Hard to judge without knowing the reason. With Nate Davis, his mom lived with him and she may have demanded he be with her with she died of which he was. I lived near my parents so I got to see them all the time. Some people live in different regions and see them a few times a year. Some people are close and some just make personal decisions depending on their life experience. I think Davis just had some character flaws and gave up after his mom died and didnt care about football anymore. Other parents would demand they go to work like Mongo said. Everyones life has a different path. It will come out but I think it will to late for him to be a factor this year. So as some prospects that would be injured, you just have to stay with the player and hope his future looks brighter.
  16. This is similar to Nate Davis story, his mom was dying. They haven't publicly gave him an ultimatum so it must be a legitimate reason. Until they explain it, it's a mystery. We have depth at CB so if he's just a practice squad for the year, he can develop.

Whoever plays the best wins the job. Have no idea who that will be but they are not playing the second best player. Makes no sense.
