Madden must not understand defense.

As bad as he was , he was a first round pick, 19th if i remember right. And we were stupid.

No one is given the Bears a 1st or 2nd for Bagent so this disscusion is just FF.

Who's our backup if we trade Bagent? Poles isnt running with Austin in a season he thinks we will win alot of games.

One game is a small sample size to make season long projections. It wasnt a good first game but we now get to see round 2. Shelton was getting slammed for getting run over , come to find out Jenkins tripped him. The offense was shabby so lets see how they rebound. A very common reaction is first game over reaction. I always think a team is not its worst game or best game in a season, its somewhere in between. The key is we won the game. What we know is we have a very good defense and that usually keeps teams in games to the end.

I keep getting the thought we are going to win this game and its not my usual positivity insanity. And 27-13 keeps poping in my head. I use to be a soothsayer but then stress entered my life and I lost it. Did it come back to me? Miami had Hill, Waddle, Achane and Tua and lost by 21 points at home. They have a former coach of the year and still they lost.

I think they are stuck with Bagent considering Rypen got picked up. I think they are planning a playoff run and getting rid of assets doesnt fit that plan.

Hopefully we get that kind of peformance from our defense. Dolphins have all that O talent and got whipped.

I think we need more film than one game for juding the oline. Shelton had 3 terrible plays but was okay for the rest of the game. Every center will have problems with a 361 lb Sweat. Top 3 DTs in the league may be a bad comparision point. Now Davis clearly doesnt have his heart in the game. He has had plenty of time to get it together. When Bates is ready Davis will sit. Also Bill Murray will be rostered the rest of the way oput as I see Davis being sat after Bates get back. This week will be a good read on the OTs that had a good day Sunday. Hunter nad Anderson are studs. I see a lot of 2 TE sets to help with the blocking and keep Kmet on the field most of the game. Everett had more snaps last week. Houston is vunerable to deep passes. They gave up 4 deep passes over 34 yards last week. Scott should have a heyday if he holds onto the ball.

I think they adjust to the mistakes they made.If they can keep Houston in check in the running game, they will keep the score close. The defense is real and will have a positie affect on the game. If they pressure CJS in the game we should get a few TOs and you never know how that effects the game. I think Caleb will look entirely different in this game. Waldron will scheme some rollouts into the game plan, so they cant tee off on Caleb.

Rome has a sprained MCLweek to week. Probably 2 weeks.

Its never as bad as it looks or as good as it does sometimes, its always inbetween. After we went down by 17 points, I didnt say same old Bears, I made 2 in game bets got 7 1/2 and the Bears and bet on a defensive/ST TD. Both paid well, I never thought that there was no way we were as bad in the second half. This type of game will never fly against a good team, but I think we play better this week. Stroud was sacked 4 1/2 times, so the OL isnt the best. Joe Mixon run for 180 yards so we cant let that happen and we will be in the game. Their two big guns on defense didnt have much of an effect on the game, Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter.

For that offence to look that bad, it took many flaws, Interior OL, dropped passes and QB bad decisions. As AZ stated it doesnt come across as a clown show that we seen so many times in the past. I think Waldron leaving him in the pocket so much was a bad decision also. I expected instant suceess but it never works that way. We also didnt run the ball very well. All things will be corrected but probsbly not this week against the Texans. Thinks I liked DeAndre Carter can play Darrell Taylor showed up big time. 8 Ts-2 sacks-2 TFL-2 QB hits. Andrew Billings seemed like he was involved in every play but the stats dont show that, I noticed him. The defense gave up 140 yards rushing , yet the defense seemed to be in control most of the game. We had pressure for most of the day and that was a good sign Flus made some adjustments at halftime that the D shut them out. We won the game Bad Velus Jones is still on the team Rome Odunze is getting an MRI over an injury he substained. IOL was terrible and that includes Jenkins. Waldron keep CW in the pocket to long. Caleb was holding the ball to long, he missed WRs, never got into a rhythm in the flow of offense. He had a strech of quick passes but anythimg downfield was off.

Be key to the game is they are not running the ball well.
