  1. I do think Cooper goes before Warmack.
  2. If they sign Scott back, I see one of the two tackles being cut Carmi or Webb.
  3. Nobody is giving him starter money, so we still are in the hunt.
  4. Thats right on with talent.

Here is some stats for you. Webb had 5 holding penalty's last year, Bushrod 1. Webb had 9 sacks, Bushrod-4. Keep in mind the Saints passed a ton more than we did last year. I am not sure what Webbs was 2 years ago, but Bushrod had 2 holding penalties in 2011.

For all you Webb lovers, it ok, he wont be cut. He will either be the RT or swing tackle. Bushrod is an upgrade, the Bears believe that, Kromer believes that. There are in a better position to judge that than we are. We got better today and thats all that matters.
  7. I love the names but we wont be trading a 2nd rounder. If the OLinemen are gone at 20 trading our first pick will be more realistic.
  8. Now that they have Bushrod, they wont be signing Scott. Carmi and Webb fight it out for the RT job and the other is the swing tackle. We wont be making anymore splashes in FAgency. We will be signing some of our own guys and grabbing some 2nd tier roster players. I think they plan on Louis at RG or the darkhorse Brown and will draft a LG in the draft. The first two picks will be a OL and a LB. Those are still needs to address. If we resign Urh and Roach, that falls to the 4th and 5th round status.
  9. We have to forget his history and look at the player he is right now. Bring him back cheap for his leadership, but not for his play.
  10. That is a lot more realiztic, think Reddick will be real good.
  11. It doesn't matter what we think, they think he's better..
  12. There is no risk with Bennett, the reason,he only had one good year, he played behind Witten. It doesnt matter what we think of Bushrod, they think he is better. They are in a better position to judge his ability than we are.
  13. They been to many pro days, that leaves us a lot of options.
  14. I dont see the Seahawks and SF on your list that got better.
  15. I think Webb and Carimi fight over the RT spot, and the loser is the swing tackle. I think they resign Louis as the RG and draft the LG. Bushrod didnt necessarily play great last year but is a big upgrade at that position.
  16. Where did we get two thirds from and who did we give the 2.
  17. He must have pictures of somebody.

Everybody in the Free world would, but wont complain if we sign him.
  19. There aint a lot of choices out there, think he would be an upgrade over Webb. Wouldnt be my first couple of choices thou.
  20. Has he ever played a down? I dont recall that.

He is a better player than Webb , do the eye test. forget those stats people throw out.

The reason you bring him back is because he is a team leader. He was 29th out of 35 MLBs last year in tackling efficiency. He cant run anymore and at 10 mil for 2 years, no way. He still thinks he has high valve, which is wrong. The only way we get him back is for 2 to 3 mil a year max. Buy a poster if you want to relive the past.
  23. I sure wouldnt make that trade.
  24. He is a better choice that Cook, because he can block. People that can block(on this team) are invaluable.
  25. The Chicago Bears will bring back Brian Urlacher at a cheap price. Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports Free-Agent Signings: TE Jared Cook, QB Jason Campbell, OG Brandon Moore, DE Israel Idonije, LB Nick Roach, LB Brian Urlacher The Chicago Bears have many of their own free agents to take care of during the free-agency period. It is safe to bet the front office will bring back Jason Campbell and Israel Idonije. As far as linebackers go, the front office and Brian Urlacher continue to communicate (per Lou Canellis on Twitter). He will be back with the team at a cheap price, as will fellow linebacker Nick Roach. While Roach is reportedly blowing up on the market (Chicago Tribune), Chicago will find a way to keep the talented up-and-comer around. Chicago can also make a major splash on offense if it can find the cap space. Tight end Jared Cook is an elite weapon when used properly, and he fits perfectly in the offense with quarterback Jay Cutler. Chicago is in the running for Cook, and expect the front office to find a way to fork over his desired $6 million per year (St. Louis Post-Dispatch).
