  1. The have Riely but he couldnt beat out a average 34 year old LT,. so maybe not ready for primetime.
  2. It doesnt matter, the BEARS didnt choose to listen to you, so we will never know if your right. I hope Webb plays well enough at RT so you can save some face.
  3. there are plenty of people praising the signing and some condemning it. You keep picking opinions that support what you say, get real.
  4. The fact is he is a better player, not great, but huge upgrade over what we had. IT WILL PROVE OUT, just watch the games and stay off the PFF site and you will gain our prespective on football players SCS
  5. Detroit lost both starting tackles, there best pass rusher, there other DE and there starting safety. They added Jones/DE. Quin/FS and Bush. Bush is an upgrade but lost in the exchange of other players. Stafford does not play well under pressure.
  6. Your opinion will prove out or get blowed up, the key here is the powers that be think you are wrong, so it doesnt really matter what we think. You need to find something else to be supportive of. The Bear organisation believe differently than you and you keep trying to prove there wrong, just deal with it, YOUR WRONG, if he plays shitty, then at the end of the year you can wave a sword, but for now, you seem pretty petty on your views.
  7. That option exists but do not figure that to be part of there plan. We will be getting a LG in the draft, and probably sign another option on the cheap. I think Brown may be in the mix, but they will give him competition.
  8. We dont always agree, but you do have it in you to be cool.
  9. If we resign Louis that will go a long ways in telling us who they want at RG. Carmi is a wildcard, I think they keep him, but he will have to prove himself. I dont think they resign Scott so Webb and Carmi can fight out for RT
  10. Its a hit and a miss, evey situation is different
  11. You picked a bad game, against the best team in the league, who are you trying to kid here? you have to look at a players career not pick games to back your allegations.
  12. Your research is flawed, it doesnt really matter what we think, the Bears paid good money for a LT, so they think he is better or they wouldnt have went out and got him. I trust there judgement over yours.
  13. I think if they resign Scott, the possiblity exists that that might happen, I am not calling for it.
  14. It was 5 mil PER YEAR
  15. Lets face the facts, the Bears have only been in the playoffs once in 6 years. If your a true Bear fan, you want us to have the best team possible, bringing back Urlacher at 5 mil a year hurts our team. You dont pay a player for what he did, you pay him for what he can give you now. Urlacher has never given a shit about the fans, he has bad mouthed us many times. He cares about himself and thank God he likes the Bears, but not enough to give us a good price. The only way you bring him is for his leadership and that aint worth 5 mil a year. His play will hurt the team. He was 29th our of 35 mlbs last year in tackling efficiency. Thats not very good for a MLB. You want to worship him, buy a highlight film and invite him over for dinner.
  16. His agent is going door to door to drum up business for the old pro, who in there right mind are going to pay his price? He might sign somewhere on else on the cheap to spite the Bears for not giving him what he wants, good ridding. We can pay him on past accolades, accept 2 mil a year or sit home.

LIke all those names, although I now think we are going to make every effort to move down.
  18. We will sign a couple CBs at low end salary, to many descent corners out there.
  19. You keep forgetting he improved so much last year, he should be pro bowl type of consideration playing at RT.
  20. I do think Cooper goes before Warmack.
  21. If they sign Scott back, I see one of the two tackles being cut Carmi or Webb.
  22. Nobody is giving him starter money, so we still are in the hunt.
  23. Thats right on with talent.

Here is some stats for you. Webb had 5 holding penalty's last year, Bushrod 1. Webb had 9 sacks, Bushrod-4. Keep in mind the Saints passed a ton more than we did last year. I am not sure what Webbs was 2 years ago, but Bushrod had 2 holding penalties in 2011.

For all you Webb lovers, it ok, he wont be cut. He will either be the RT or swing tackle. Bushrod is an upgrade, the Bears believe that, Kromer believes that. There are in a better position to judge that than we are. We got better today and thats all that matters.
