Since Arians is in the picture, I would like him at 1, then McCoy at two. I dont really like the rest all that much. Carmichael run the Saints this year, and that didnt go so good. Clements doenst call the plays in GB, McCarthy does. The rest are to much to get excited about.

He was there for two weeks while Cutler got traded.
  3. your right on with that, our space wont be that great after Melton is signed , he wants big money and will get some of it. you have to leave some money for rookies, probably enough to sign one good player, and a couple of 2nd tier ones.

No way any of them are coming here. Gruden would be nice, but is waiting for a certain job and it isnt the Bears. Holmgren wont be getting hired here, he always wants control of everything and his age comes into play. Reid is a good coach, but not who Emery will be looking at. Mark my words none of them will be interviewing here, and Im fine with that.
  5. Drafts cant be judged for at least 2 and more realistically 3 years. Emery got thrown in to it last year with Lovies influence. Lets see what he does with a better perspective this year.
  6. Well much better to move forward than sideways every year. Time for a change and had the same needs whether Lovie was here or not. At least a fresh start could give us some offense. Like score some points. I dont know how Emery will do going forward, but one thing is for sure, he will take responsibly for he. No more holier than thou attitudes around here.
  7. That all sounds good but Warmack will be gone by the 4th and Eifert way before that, he is the 2nd rated TE in draft.
  8. OL needs to be a priority but at 20 if the right valve isnt there, then do whats best. The people that draft well, draft good players, rarely for need. Hopefully it fills our most important needs. You figure the 1st and 2nd need to contribute the first year. The 4th and 5th make the roster and some playing time.
  9. In his speech he talked about not having the personal to change to a 3-4 and would not want to retool the defense right now. Some one would have to work with the talent we have.
  10. I agree that TE is a must, but with a speed wr like Wallace, who I dont think we can afford, Marshall, Jefferys, a pass catching TE, and Forte, a player to stretch the field would make us tough to beat.
  11. My preference would be Cook then Meyers from Oak. Younger with upside. the list is there to just get us a upgrade, which would be anybody.
  12. From what I heard, he is still having problems walking let alone ever play again. It would be nice, but as I said last year, dont think he will ever play again.
  13. Between the draft and FAgency we need several spots to upgrade. We cant fix everything in one season,so these are the positions I think immediate upgrade. OL-I think we need to grab a 1st round OT, there seems to be 5 listed as 1st round grades, but will need more research to pinpoint what valve that will be at with the 20th pick. I also think we need to bring in a OG,OC in FAgency to add to the mix. Lance Louis will need to be resigned then possible names to go after Levirte-Buf (bright future) Valquiez-SD (a younger guy with some upside) for OC spots-Faine-Cinn or Koppen-Den would come from 2 stong Olines. TE-I think we can grab one in FAgency or possible 2nd round pick. FAs include Cook-Tenn, Davis-Wash,Sheffler-DET, Meyers-OAK, Bennett-Giants. MLB- I think we grab one with the 2nd round pick, have to research prospects. Speed WR-with 4 th pick or FAgency. Wrs in FAgency include Schillens-Jets, Avery-Colts, Henderson-NO, need to research this more. Someone like Knox to stretch field.

The problem with Clements is McCarthy calls the plays there, so how much of what goes on there can you credit to TC? His name has been thrown out there before and everybody hired his coaching peers out of GB last year. With have no idea about any of the candidates unless its Ried, Gruden, ect. I think Emery with figure it out, he has a front row seat, we just have a limited view of all this.
  15. Until Shanahan got RG3, he wasnt looked on as anything special. I think McCoy looks like the best shot going forward, who knows if any succeed, lets just roll with it, and see what happens.
  16. I think he gets a HC ing job, and release the money for us. I dont like his persona but think Lovie was a good coach, just not a Super Bowl coach. He can make a team better, but doenst have a clue on how to get the big job done. Stuck on defense, loyal to bad players, brain farts way to much. Time to move on, and throw the burden on a new guy.
  17. I would prefer Brian Belick, been there, won a super bowl, smart guy. What I most want is Emery to be decisive, not interview 10 people and wait a month. His first request was McCoy from Denver, interview him, sign him and lets move forward. Until (who ever gets here) he does the job, we have no idea how successful that person with be. This all just didnt get decided this weekend, Emery has already put work in on this, and I think he knows what he wants to do, and just want him to get it done, reshape the roster, and lets see what happens next year.
  18. We need at least one speed WR, two OLs. If at all possible, Long, or at least a 1st pick. another OG, and possible a soon to be OC for one year from now. Also a viable TE. We cant fix everything in one year, but need to let Urlacher go and find a replacement. We dont have a 3rd rounder due to Marshall, but that is worth living with. So a OL, and SWR, LB in FAgency. then draft OL,TE, OL, LB,QB,TE.
  19. throw in we need a speed Wr, doesnt have to be a big name, but someone like Hester just happens to know how to play Wr and spread the field.
  20. Finally cut dead weight
  21. The offensive line is not a good one, I still think we will win 10 to 11 games. We cannot fix everything in one off season, and we ignored that problem this year. Hopefully Cutler can get by without major injuries, and we just move forward. If we looked at the begining of the season, I dont count this as a victory anyway, it just was an ugly lose.
  22. They played on the SCORE today an interview with Tice and he talked about Carmi not being up to par yet and might have to rest him quite a bit. THAT IS NOT GOOD NEWS. With the great C. Williams as our backup OT , that is not good news.
  23. Ranking are just a measuring stick. I just (personally) dont think that is a strong trio. They will be ok, but as the strength of your team, dont see that happening. The fun thing about fantasy football is taking chances on players, but that doesnt make them good, time will only tell. Peterson could turn out to be really good(again) but with an injury risk, I didnt think he was worth the risk. The other two will have ok stats, but nothing special.
  24. You must not play much fantasy football if you think the 14th ranked rb with health issues, the 25 and 27 th rated rbs are a strong group. In Talkbears league I have c. Johnson, McFadden and D. williams as one of my backups. Thats more what you consider a strong RB group.
  25. Your only weakness is at RB. Sproles is a low end #1,but Ridley will be inconsistent thru out the year. Bush is a better #2. Otherwise you have cream of the crop.
