I agree with everyone you just stated,the problem with your math is that is about 34 mill in contracts for the year and you didnt figure in the rookie pool and resigning our own players.WE DONT HAVE THAT MUCH MNONEY. Also Forte money has to come off that cap. I think we have enough to sign Coslton , Carlson, and Wimbley.

I dont think we should go after Williams, the money we will have to pay him will prohibit us froming getting any other players of note. I would rather have A Colston and Grubbs,and a CB than just one guy and some low lights.

I think you can get the same numbers out of Colston for 2 to 4 less.

Was reading on PFT that with the QB in place, they will be going after Jackson big time. If Snyder wants someone, I think he will outbid us for VJ.The only thing we have going for us is being a better team.

They went all in last year, waiting for him to play and looked what happened. I think they are more aware of his injuries than anybody else and anybody getting Manning is taking a big risk. I think if they are going to be bad, might as well rebuild. They know they have the of the best prospects to come along in many years at QB, so a perfect time to go young.

I would say the weather would have to be an attraction, two years ago they were 10-6 and they have the most money to spend. I think Courtland will cost 6 to 8 mil according to what CBs having gotten recently.

The problem is with Davis you take the risk of him not being good, since we dont have the film to determine differently. I would rather take a chance on someone that has actually did it on the field. If we sign Davis back and he sucks then what? You going to rely on Speath to be the guy? He blocks, and thats not going to get us vertical.

How about throwing J. Addai in the picture. He catches the ball well out of the backfield and as a backup could stay healthy.

Bennett is a #3, Knox will be out of football by the time the first regular season game is played, and Hester is only at 5 because he will still be on the team. We need another #2 WR as a draft pick and at the a4th spot a second tier WR. You should stick to bingo.

We have so many open roster spots, we have to have some filled on the cheap. There are several that will be back on that list. I see them keeping Wootton one more year due to his cheap cost of his spot, and because of his higher draft spot.

I would love that but I dont think we have the money to pay all 4 of those players. Maybe 2 of the first three, but not all three. Courtland will be the highest paid CB out there, and Wimbley wont come cheap. Those would take VJ 12 mil a year, Courtland 6 to 8 mil, Wimbley 6 to 9 mil and Bell 4 to 5 mil. I think we could afford VJ and Bell and will have to go second tier for DE and CB.

How is a package deal going to be attractive to any team? Are they going to each take 2 mil less to play together? It is not like a QB and WR, he suggested TB because they have the most money to spend. It would be nice to get both of them guys, but doubt they will spend that much on a CB.

I think that is exactly what we will do , bring in more of a specialist, but Wimbley wont be a cheap addition.
