  1. I have watched the first half, overall, I was happy. I am not expecting Super Bowl this year, and so anything better than last years embarrassment will do well with . I feel we might just be 8-8 at worst, with a lot of upside after the season. First year coaches and new schemes cannot make miracles, but improvement is what I am looking for. Overall, I am encouraged.
  2. Impossible for me to know if I would like him personally, but I certainly don't care for how he plays.
  3. Rest in Peace Doug Buffone....so sorry to hear this.....a great Bear.

    Goodbye Peanut

Very very sorry to see Peanut go, wish he would have agreed to a safety slot. What a shame. Oh well, best of luck to Charles Tillman, I hope he retires a Bear!
  5. Agreed, a good player, sad to see him go.
  6. I am excited about the coming year.....and will be more excited when Cutler leaves. BTW, I am coming home in July for two weeks!
  7. I love Forte but he is getting old, has had a lot of carries, and is expensive. I hate to say it, but he is probably going to go. And his little Twitter stuff doesn't help.
  8. I am from Rockford, Illinois. I am now in the UK....sadly. However, I still wear my Bears shirts and bleed blue and and orange. If you think that people here don't know the Bears....wake up.
  9. I am all in for Peanut, he is pure class and needs to retire a Bear. Briggs.....please no.
  10. Rest in Peace Mr. Banks.....what a credit to the sport and Chicago!
  11. I used to live in Rockford, and now am in Leicester, UK. I did have a job in Woodstock, lovely place. And took the train from Harvard once upon a time to go see a Cubs game with a dearly departed friend.
  12. Happy New Year to all; 2015 has got to be better than 2014.
  13. What about Greene? He had some good moments last season, I think he has plenty of potential.
  14. I just want the best coach available; a proven leader who has been to the big game and keeps discipline in the team. I definitely do not want anyone brought in just for Cutler.
  15. I feel bad for Trestman; he did suck but he should have never been hired by Emery in the first place. He will make a good O Coordinator for someone and I wish him the best. However, I am glad he got the ax.
  16. Welcome back Jason, good to see you!
  17. Sadly, I am a bit of a masochist and watched the last game until the final whistle....sigh. I think Christian Jones has awesome potential and deserves to compete for a starting job; he was a beast out there yesterday. And there was little else to cheer for.
  18. Me too, sweaty Teddy can go. And everyone underneath him.
