  1. Amari Cooper on a 1Yr deal would look great.
  2. This fits DE in Rd 1. Ayo plays both DT and DE. On rushing down's he is outside, but he moves inside a lot on passing downs - which is kind of perfect in terms of length and flexibility and means if you draft someone in Rd 1 at DE (or even with Rd 2 pick) that is a really nice duo along with Sweat. A lot of talent plus versatility if done right.
  3. I would lean towards a trade down or a DE / LT at 10. In free agency at this point - I'd be looking for a potential vet LB to replace Sanborn (unless we like someone in-house) and still need a vet wideout or two. I don't expect any more moves for a while - basically sit and see where the market is. But what I do like is - they invested in the lines, now we just got to hope they found the right players. I also like that these deals are all largely 2 year deals, so the Bears still have a ton of flexibility in play. No doubt the team has made significant investments into the 3 biggest weaknesses of the club (Oline, Dline, HC/Lack of Offensive Minded HC)
  4. Very interesting - they have put their money into the lines and really invested there. I expect we'll also see a couple draft picks there, but clearly RB is going to be a spot they go early (I still hope it is Rd 2 vs. Rd 1).
  5. I think all of these give the Bears quite a bit of flexibility when Caleb would be due to get paid, etc.
  6. I thought he got $40M per?
  7. He would be a good signing.
  8. And Kiran in year 2 with a full off-season is much better too. I expect they take another olinemen with one of their first 4 picks too.
  9. Let's go - significantly upgrading the interior of the line in a matter of 1 week. Now lets see a dlinemen or two added here...
  10. Super stoked - now if a young LT is there, draft them too. If not - let the competition at LT be there.
  11. Freaking LOVE IT. Fair deal too.
  12. 3YR 42M is the reports.
  13. Sounds like Dalman to Bears...
  14. Godwin back to Bucs - 3yr 66M.
  15. TV - X is all over the map right now.
  16. DJ Reed (Jets - DB) to the Packers.
  17. H. Reddick to Bucs for 1YR deal.
  18. Chiefs signed Moore to be one of their tackles from the Niners. 2Yr 30M+.
  19. That is why you spend now - do it on guys who have a few years in - which gives them plenty to spend in next 2-3 years and than you still are left with plenty of flexibility when it comes to making Caleb work too.
  20. A rumor out there regarding Amari Cooper and the Bears. For right price on ST deal, I'd say he would be a good replacement (and younger) for Keenan.
  21. They can do minimal rework to a few deals and create another $20M in cap space.
  22. I think they could move down a few spots from 10 - but I think at minimum 2 of first 4 will be on trenches, most likely 3 of first 4. RB will be one of the top 3 picks, imo. I also think there is a chance they take a TE.
  23. I'm just not a fan of drafting a RB this early. I would have been fine paying Saquon last off-season, but I feel like getting these guys this early with everything else just doesn't add up. I am 100% fine drafting a RB in Rd 2 though.
  24. Bears have plenty of cap space and can free up quite a bit. I'm okay if they hold for one more off-season for another splurge or two...but i think Dalman is worth overpaying for. I was a big fan of Khalil Mack or someone like that on a 1yr deal. Chase Young is now who I'm guessing - say a 2YR 25M deal combined with Dalman.
