Before the injury I, as many others here, thought that we had something going here....As of now I see him as a great quality backup or a low line starter that I will still give another shot next season if Angelo doesn't go after anybody. He showed great promise this season and for whatever reason that ankle injury threw him off his rhythm. After the demise of this season I see us brining in a new OC and we'll see if he can produce under another scheme. Give him a 2 year extension to start for us while we bring someone else up is the route I see us going....I don't see Angelo bringing in any FA and I don't want Cassel.

No thanks... TJ or Anquan are my hopes I don't even think he is that great of a receiver...he is all hype, most of which he makes himself...Look what happened after TJ got there Maybe the first season TJ got a break because CJ was getting all the coverage but teams can figure that out after one season...TJ gets more looks and catches and the person on the team that usually leads in those categories is the best receiver on the team..

I agree with somewhat with Conner and somehwat with BearSox. Also with whoever said he is good against bigger WRs and not speed guys. I think as he gets older a move to FS with def benefit him. If we can get some younger guys in at the corners (Graham/???McBride?wtf happend from last year) and let go Vash I think a safty combo of Payne/Tillman would be very nice. People do easily forget BearSox...of course he makes some bonehead plays but even Champ does that sometimes. I am in no way saying he is as good as Bailey, but I am not so quick to write him off like some people. It's a funny situation, I know people that absolutley despise him and people that love him...

^^^ In regards to that... I have always found that Peanut gets no credit for any plays where he is outstanding... but always gets the blame for the secondary's problems....he's the only one in the group thats seems to not dog it....Payne is a close 2nd

But still...make a list like this for any other team...everyone has hits and misses...it happens in all sports... Do you honestly expect for everyone in rounds 1-5 to turn into something? get over it.

you can do this with any GM and come up with a similar list... not trying to defend him or anything but it really comes down to the scouts...

Exactly, I was talking about it with a guy yesterday and we both agreed that playing in the Thanksgiving day game should be choosen by records or something...so we always know there will be a good game on...somewhat like the flex schedule they do with the sunday night games.
