  1. Half way to Bears pick... Little fun question while we're waiting... Do the Bears take Quinn if he is there at 31? I think Del Rio likes the trio of guys he has actually. I want Joe Staley and Dwayne Jarrett with our two picks...
  2. This really sucks for Quinn. Harris is going to be the pick, IMO. Or Beason or Poz.
  3. I've actually backed off TE early. I doubt Olsen will be there at 31, and Miller isn't worth either 31 or 37, IMO. I have no problem with Houston to be the future replacement for Vasher (if you get a CB like Houston, you have to keep Peanut then). He is very similar to Tye Hill who some thought we would draft last year, but the Rams reached on him. TRADE!
  4. Yeah, but he was expected to go in the 10-20 range, and was argueable the second best reciever in the draft. But Harrell was projected to go 20-30, or even possibly second round, and the Packers passed up Branch to get him.
  5. See... this is where the draft heats up. SURPRISE TIME!
  6. Justin Harrell? Wow, was not expecting that.
  7. Well, moment of truth coming up for Quinn... will he have to wait any longer?
  8. The Packers would rather get some offense to help Farve out in his final year or two though...
  9. KC seems pretty confident that Brodie Croyle who they drafted last year that he is their future QB. Baltimore would probably, but then again, stranger things have happened.
  10. thats just the gay one. I am talking about the one showing how much time's left and who picking and who's next.
  11. I also like their draft bar better. The only thing I don't like is that it goes away during commercials, unlike ESPN's. But NFLN's commercials don't make you want to blow your head off. Yes to what? That Jacksonville takes him?
  12. Does Jacksonville take Quinn...? If not, we could really see a MAJOR free fall for him. Unless Detroit or Cleveland trades up in the 17-25 range, Quinn COULD possibly fall to 31.
  13. I was watching it on the nfl network... much better IMO. If you have the NFLN, you should really watch it there.
  14. I know, but last year it seemed to move faster... probably because there were more trades and such. scratch off LT from the list of possibilities... damn.
  15. Imagine Harris and Branch together on the line together... oh my See, now you have me addicted to crack dream pipe!
  16. This draft seems to be moving sooooooooo slow...
  17. seriously... put the crack dream pipe down!
  18. I think they are targeting Greg Olsen, but though 14 was too high, and that he could be had at 26 where the Jets pick. He's the best CB in the draft... thats who.
  19. That was before they got Carr. Carr can still become a good QB... IMO. He just got put into the wrong situation, and any QB with that bad of an OL is going to fail. I think he could take over Delhomme through midseason and flourish with Carolina.
  20. Ah, Harris. How could I forget? I think he goes to New England with one of their two picks. Plus, I really don't like Kiper. If no one else is available, I have no problem with Grubbs. But if some players like Bowe, Jarrett, Staley, Olsen, etc or available, you have to take them ahead. Grubbs could very well be available at 37, IMO.
  21. Harris...? I am drawing a blank here for some reason. Panthers will likely take Olsen with the Jets pick (if he is there), and Staley won't make it past the Ravens, probably. Timmons, he could be there. Grubbs isn't worth the first, IMO. I wouldn't mind either Bowe or Jarrett if their there at 31 either. Should be interesting.
  22. at least we got the first round done!
  23. I really think both of these threads, or at least the Bears one, should be in Bear Chatter, or whatever it is called. That is the first one many visitors always go to check first, and they will likely be making their own threads without looking here.
  24. Wow, good work Jico... this must have took a good couple hours to have done. Very interesting to see who the Bears will take at 31... if they are indeed still at 31.
  25. I personally really like Beason, and I think he would replace Briggs perfectly. They are pretty much identical, except Beason has more hype coming into this years draft. Briggs was at 6-1, 242 around the draft, but now obviously he is in better shape, and he ran a 4.65 40. Beason at the combine was at 6 1/2, 237, and ran a 4.72. Plus, they both started out as fullbacks in their college career before moving to linebacker. They are practically the same size, but Beason ran a few MILI-seconds slower then Briggs. I think 40 times are the most overrated thing you can judge a player by. I really don't care how fast or slow someone is in shorts on a fast track. I want to see how they run in pads on gameday. Sure, 40 times give a good measure of how fast someone is, but a better way to judge how fast someone is, is by looking at game film and seeing how they play in a game. And I will tell you this, Jon Beason is a beast. He has a great burst, and is quick. He can play sideline to sideline, and is very good in coverage. But if Briggs is kept, I'd rather look for a (future?) replacement for HH and spend the year developing Jamar Williams at WLB. I have finally caved in and HH can be upgraded. He is good, but we need someone who can pass rush better. The only guy I would take with our first two picks for that is Lawrence Timmons. The guy is raw, but can be a hell of a player. He is kind of small though at 6 7/8, or maybe Stewart Bradley in the second depending on who's available. Other then that, it might be a better idea to wait until the middle rounds to get a possible steal. Hoof, you brought up Waters earlier, and I will also throw out the name Stephen Nicholas from South Florida. Oh, another guy for the later rounds to throw out there is Dallas Sartz from USC. Very underrated at this point.
