  1. Possibly to fill a leadership void in secondary?
  2. Paea to Washington (4 years), so Oakland seems like the front runner for Knighton.
  3. SCS I agree on Rolle, possibly just a one year stop gap. Another update: Would love Wisniewski.
  4. Mason Foster, LB Da'Norris Searcy, S Antrel Rolle, S I will take it.
  5. I just updated my last post with available players and signings.
  6. https://twitter.com/AaronLemingNFL/status/574904193523187714 Awesome news, one of the top 3 OLBs on the market. Now we need a Safety. Really not bad at all, only $16 mil guaranteed is awesome.
  7. Looks like we will not being getting any potroast.
  8. 49ers outright denying it. Contracts similar, but that is about it.

    Shaun Hill?

  10. Sanchez back with Eagles 2/16.
  11. ESPN just linked us to Harvin.......
  12. Yeah, and potentially one of the centers (Hudson/Wisniewski).
  13. Absolutely, definitely not a direct line, but I would assume some influence.
  14. Gore/Maxwell/Kiko was around the same cap hit as McCoy.
  15. huge rumor, so take it with a grain of salt, but a guy in this thread said it is a done deal: https://twitter.com/sportsmockery/status/574686147504402434
  16. Gore to the Eagles. 4/36 to Flowers, so $9 mil seems like the standard for high level CBs.
  17. Another CB off the market: With Jackson getting $8.5 and now Maxwell over $10, the bar looks pretty high for CB contracts.
  18. Yeah, I think we literally need one or the other if we are going to a 3-4. With Del Rio's history (JAX and DEN), and with OAK's cap situation (and missing out on Suh), they are probably the first option. lol on pot roast!
  19. lol, just watching Twitter and surfing the interwebs. If you indeed are cooking pot roast, I would say that is a pretty good sign. Might be the Knighton variety or the Shelton variety.
  20. https://twitter.com/JosinaAnderson/status/574632313893449728 I would hope that if we wanted him, we would have a leg up considering Fox (assuming he liked Fox). Oakland has the money, Indy has the best chance for winning now, and Washington is where good players go to lose.
  21. I have been right there with you since as early as I can remember (late 70's games). The biggest reason for optimism is with the new front office and coaching staff. I don't think we have ever had a stronger core group from top to bottom (Pace-Fox-Gase-Fangio)
  22. So do we finally put it together this year or next (w/ Cutler)?
  23. True, but he also was on the team that went to the AFC Championship with Sanchez, and then the drop off that occurred afterwards. I think he would have been a little less supportive if he didn't feel strongly about Cutler. You don't say someone can be the best in the league to compliment them, you can say that he is a great QB, great talent, etc. I just that was an interesting comment.
  24. I don't know if anyone listened to the Slauson interview, but it was pretty good (link below). He said he was impressed with Pace and his vision, talked with Coach Fox about accountability (wants to be held accountable as professional athletes, doesn't want gray area, wants black and white, and that is what Fox is all about). He was asked about Long moving to LT, and just said we need him on the field. He said Forte is an every down back. On Marshall, he said he didn't know a whole lot about personnel decisions, so he couldn't say that he was surprised or not; but Brandon is a great player and will be missed on this team. This seemed like a really odd answer as either you are or are not shocked by the move. To me it seemed like he just wanted to take the high road and didn't say either way, then said Brandon was a great player and would be missed. The most interesting part of the interview was the last question when asked about if he wanted to see Cutler back with team: I was honestly surprised at how supportive his answer was. Saying that he has all the talent in the world is one thing, but saying that, then saying the team needed to be better, and that Cutler had the potential to be the best in the league was quite shocking to me. Hearing this makes me believe that he will be back. http://wgnradio.com/2015/03/08/chicago-bea...ort-him-better/
