  1. If you noticed the game shift right after the officials get involved. Weak call on ST, then the Wright holding that led to the Caleb fumble TD. Now they don't call forward progress, then after Swift is stopped, they can rip the ball out? Come on man.
  2. Yeah, this is going to turn into a bad loss. Getting WAS game vibes where the rest of the season goes south after this game if they lose. What is he thinking there, just take the safety.
  3. What the hell, come on Caleb. Inexcusable, what are you doing?
  4. Yeah, right on queue, one on ST, on back to back plays. What I hate about the ST one, you can call holding on every kickoff if you want to. Yep, the Bears are one of those teams that can't run a screen on offense to save their life, but get gashed on defense by them on every play. The minute an extra offensive player goes to that side, you have to balance it. Yeah, it is going to be a long day for the defense. I doubt they force a punt, at most maybe force some FGs.
  5. PIT doing nothing fancy, just throwing the ball to the outside with extra blockers. Bears playing vanilla and staying back. Gonna be a long day unless they attack the LOS.
  6. Yes, our defense was not good already, now borderline terrible. The only hope is to go back and forth and possess the ball last, score and win.
  7. Then PIT gets a 9 yard gain on a hand off from shotgun, which was basically a 14 yard run.
  8. Of course, a terrible 3 and out. 2 bad runs into 9 defenders, then a throw into triple coverage on 3rd down. WTH
  9. Yeah, and injuries can easily derail a season. The offense is going to have to go off and force PIT into being one-dimensional.
  10. No Jaylon or Gordon. This is going to be an ugly game. If they can win without their starting LBs and CBs, that would be a miracle.
  11. My fear is if there is manipulation by the league, and they want him to have his Swan Song, he comes in and magically gets a naked bootleg TD to win the game and to do the discount double check one last time. Now that would suck balls. I just want him to go away, but I understand the sentiment. The way the league has called games against the Bears, these games never feel fair.
  12. Damn, Bears' media site shows Tremaine Edmunds on IR, but no announcement from the team. 4+ games missed would suck, he was having a great year.
  13. Jackson knows the defense, that was an underrated signing for the Bears. All we need Jackson and Hyppolite to do is not make any major mistakes. Sewell was below average anyway imo so his loss is not as big.
  14. Edmunds, Edwards, and Sewell are all out for Sunday. Another entire position group gone. This is gonna be ugly. It is not like the D-Line can pick up the slack or the secondary can cover up the LB weaknesses. TEs and RBs are going to have a field day against Hyppolite and Practice Squad LB. Not good.
  15. There are way too many variables to account for to evenly compare two different games, even though that's what we do. Weather, injuries, officials, home/away, rest. You almost have to treat each week as if both teams are 0-0. Any Given Sunday is real.
  16. Great news, now we just need to get him back and have him healthy for the remainder of the season. Gordon + CJGJ make for an interesting dynamic duo out there. Rarely do you have more than one player who is so versatile.
  17. Yeah the Bears and Packers have 3 common games remaining (DET, 2 against each other), the 4 different games are MINx2, DEN, BAL vs the Bears getting PHI, SF, PIT, and CLE. GB is a very weird team. All 3 of their losses have come when the defense held the opponent to 16 or less. They have turned the ball over in only 4 games, and in those games they are 1-3-1. So it seems like even one error and the entire game is derailed. That actually reminds me of recent Bears teams, the big difference being Flus+Fields vs LaFleur+Love.

    Draft Prospects

So who is a good prospect at #32?
  19. They are also a first-place team. So this is a bigger game than I expected at the start of the season. PIT does what PIT does every year with Tomlin, the most consistent Head Coach in this era. The fact that he has never had a losing record in 19 years is wild. Like Andy Reid has had 3 losing seasons a 4-win, 5-win, and a 6-win season. John Harbaugh has one. Belichick had 8.
