DA has gone very vanilla and sort of hoped for the other teams to make a mistake instead of forcing them into ones. I think a lot has to do with injuries. Johnson and Gordon have played in one game together, against PHI. That's it. Edmunds has missed 4 and hasn't been the same since coming back from injury. Edwards missed 7 games. So with the LBs missing time, communication and pre-snap alignment has probably not been as clean as you would like it to be.

If Bears win, they play GB. Bears lose and Eagles win, Bears more than likely play the Rams. Rams would have to lose to the Cardinals to fall to the #6 seed. So it could be GB @ CHI, SF @ PHI, and LAR @ TB/CAR. Then if the Bears win in the WC, it would be PHI or LAR @ CHI in the Divisional Round. Since SF would be the lowest seed remaining, if they win in PHI, they go to SEA. If PHI wins, LAR goes to SEA, and PHI comes to CHI.

Burden just needs more targets.

That's fair, but Williams, Trubisky, and Fields are not in the same stratosphere. I can't tell you how many times we were told about Mitch going from 101 to 201, taking the training wheels off. I think we are well past that point with Williams. Williams is the first QB in NFL history to start a career with more than 7K Passing yards, 800 Rush yards, with more than 40 Pass TDs and fewer than 15 INTs through their first 33 games. One other QB has put up those numbers in a 33-game span in their entire careers, once by Josh Allen. Caleb has done it in his first 33 games. With 229 Passing Yards, Caleb will hit 7,500 in his first two seasons. With one TD, he will be at 50 (Pass+Rush+Rec). With 24 Rushing Yards, he will hit 900. That would be over 8,400 Pass+Rush Yards in his first two years, averaging 4,200 per year with 25 TDs. Those are franchise QB numbers, and that's his floor.
