  1. They are just trying to get another record, lowest passer rating to win a game by 10 pts or more while throwing 3 or more interceptions.
  2. 29% Completion percentage, and fallling.....
  3. I did, post 194! http://www.talkbears.com/forums/index.php?...761&st=180#
  4. He hasn't done it already, and he can't play any worse, unless he hands off to their D-Line.
  5. Detroit up on NE after a Safety, 18-13. GB losing big against NYJ.
  6. They need to get the ball in his hands more, he defines electric.
  7. Benson is at least backing up some of that talk. Great run.
  8. Wow, Manning sure was missed vs NE. Glad to have him back out there. Huge TD!
  9. Lovie needs to swallow his ego and do the right thing. Griese or Orton for that matter cannot be any worse than Grossman right now.
  10. Benson and Jones both look pretty good, and are averaging over 5 a carry. Stick with the freakin run.
  11. NE Secondary Injuries Rodney Harrison - Out Asante Samuel - Questionable Eugene Wilson - Questionable Chad Scott - Questionable The Bears should be passing against a depleted NE Secondary. I really hope Grossman has a solid game.
  12. That's the same thing I was thinking. The Pats don't really have a #1 receiver, instead they have a bunch of #2s and #3s.
  13. Wow, no Brown and no Manning for NE. Great timing NFL. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AvQs...p&type=lgns
  14. Yeah it is the 3:15 start. They moved the Philly-Indy game to the Sunday night slot last week. Now that game looks a lot less appealing without McNabb. We can clinch the Division this week with a win and GB and MIN losses. We can't clinch HFA yet. That is at least 2 weeks away with some help from other teams. Now the question is, what do the Bears do if/when they clinch HFA? Do they rest starters and end up like Indy last year, or do they play out the remaining games and risk injury?
  15. I would say the general level of importance is something like this: 1. Home Divisional Game 2. Away Divisional Game 3. Home Conference Game 4. Away Conference Game 5. Home Non-Conference Game 6. Away Non-Conference Game This is also dependent on where you are in your race. The Bears are now 3 up on all other teams in the Conference and 5 up in the Division with 6 games remaining. This game vs the Pats probably won't factor into the playoff picture, especially looking at the Bears remaining schedule. I think as long as they play well, then they can come back home satisfied with the road trip. Just don't lay an egg. This is especially true for Grossman. He needs to play well, run the offense, and limit turnovers.
  16. Asking if 2 out 3 is acceptable after you have already won 2 games is kind of pointless. The NE game is going to be a measuring stick, but definitely not a must win game. If NYG lose tonight the Bears will have a 3 game lead on the entire NFC with head to head tie breaker advantages against (NYG and SEA). After the NE game, the Bears have (MIN, at STL, TB, at DET, and GB) with a combined 17-33 record. The Bears should win all of those games, but it seems like NE will be their last true test. I think they will come out and treat the game like a playoff game. The Bears will clinch a playoff berth with probably one more win, and home field advantage with 2 more wins.
  17. I'm here, I was away from the computer for the game. Overall it looks like the Bears went to an Orton-style offense with Grossman to minimize turnovers. I will take a 10-0 shutout any day. A 10 point win is a 10 point win. Bradley looked really good and when Berrian gets to 100%, the Bears should start using more 3 WR sets with Moose, Bradley, and Berrian. Jones and the running game did a lot better. Just wished they used Benson on some of those goal line plays. O-Line did nice with the run. The Defense did what they needed to do to win. Overall, after the initial lack of running D, they really stepped it up. Grossman, the jury still out on him. They really need to work on the blitz packages, otherwise next week is going to be ugly in NE.
  18. From this article: http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...cs-home-utility it looks like Hester will start returning kickoffs this week, and may even come in for some offensive plays (Fly pattern, WR Screen) later in the season.

    Guess the QB's

Very close..... Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. After seeing Rex's numbers for his first "full season", I went back and checked on other QB's stats for their first 16 games. Very few QB's excelled that soon, and Rex has had to deal with injuries and new offensive coordinators, etc. So all in all I think he is right on track.
  20. Yeah, Chad Johnson, Joe Horn, and TO really got out of hand. There was nothing wrong with the Ickey Shuffle.
  21. A High-Five to a teammate is a celebration, a fade-away jumper with the football is using a prop. I don't get it. I can see the excessive celebration, or the taunting celebration, but this seems very petty.
  22. That's weak. I thought that type of celebration authorized?
  23. Stats for the first 16 games of career: QB#1 - 71.2 Rating, 56.7% Comp, 3739 Yds, 26 TD, 28 INT, 22 Sacks QB#2 - 75.8 Rating, 55.6% Comp, 3152 Yds, 18 TD, 16 INT, 19 Sacks Guess the QB's?
