  1. Another good series by the D. Hopefully the offense can have a sustained drive. BTW, Hester is making me freakin nervous. Either catch the ball or get away.
  2. Yeah, that was an ugly possession other than the first Benson run.
  3. 3 and out is a great start for the D. Peanut just missed that, but it was a great call by the coaches.
  4. Great first drive. That was such a relief. O-Line did an awesome job in the trenches. Great catch by Davis!
  5. Grossman's performance will have the biggest impact on this game. He cannot turn the ball over like he has recently. If he does the Bears will be playing from behind which will force him into more bad situations. They need to get an early lead, then hunker down with the running game.
  6. I don't think the Bears will pack it in before the 1st half. Starters should be in until halftime. For the Packers, if this is going to be Favre's last game, he is going to play to the end, and they are going to play for the win. With the Tiki/Giants win, it sets up these potential matchups: 6 N.Y. Giants at 3 Philadelphia (East champ) 5 Dallas at 4 Seattle 6 N.Y. Giants at 3 Dallas (East champ) 5 Philadelphia at 4 Seattle Based off the seeding, the Bears, as the #1 seed cannot play the 3rd seeded team (East Division Champs). Which team out of those 4 would you most like to see as the Bears Divisional opponent?
  7. Cold Hard Facts Stats Scoreability Index / Bendability Index Team - Score / Bend Bears – 1 / 3 San Diego – 2 / 17 Buffalo – 3 / 8 Dallas – 4 / 18 Indianapolis – 5 / 25 Baltimore – 6 / 1 New England – 7 / 2 Cincinnati – 8 / 9 Jacksonville – 9 / 6 Tennessee – 10 / 20 Last year, Pittsburgh finished 4th and 5th, Seattle finished 2nd and 4th, Indy finished 3rd and 2nd, and Carolina finished 1st and 6th. The Bears were 1st in Bendability, but 20th in Scoreability. So it looks like these stats are pretty accurate at predicting teams that will go deep into the playoffs. The two best teams based off these stats for this year are the Bears (1,3) and the Ravens (6,1). Interesting to see teams like New Orleans and Philly so low. http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/Quality_Standings.php
  8. Let's Go Bears! Get a big lead, and then give some guys time off. The Lions should be playing for Brady Quinn. Some Inactives for the game: Charles Tillman (Ricky Manning Jr. will start in place of Tillman with Hester playing the nickel. ) Leon Joe John Tait (John St. Clair will start in his place.)
  9. He has to ask permission to leave the state, and as long as it is work related, there should not be a problem. Also, I think he has a Jan 7th court date that might clarify some of this.
  10. Haugh must read TalkBears too: http://www.talkbears.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=813 There is definitely a correlation between the production totals.
  11. Millen has been horrible and should be fired. That team has had so many chances to turn it around and they continually make bad personnel decisions. Maybe they should just draft another 1st Round Wide Receiver. If the fans do this, and it is very noticeable on tv, it will be hilarious.
  12. I think the Bears realize that they need him back with Harris out for the year. I just hope he can straighten himself out.
  13. Congrats to the ones selected. I thought Tait, Peanut, Brown, or Anderson had a shot. Romo leads the NFC with a rating of 98.4, with 10 games played, so he should be there since it is a pretty weak NFC QB crop this year.

    Desmond Clark

During the post game interviews they talked to Rex and Desmond. Rex said Desmond was doing a great job of finding the soft spot in the zone and was in great position on the hot route. When asked about what has happened to him in the last couple of weeks, Desmond said that the coaches were having him do other things, and today they made an emphasis on gettin him the ball. The offense looks so much better when they get the TE involved. I think it also makes it harder for the Defense to defend. Do you take away the wideouts, TE, or RBs?
  15. YES! THE ROAD TO THE SUPER BOWL GOES THROUGH SOLDIER FIELD! New Orleans or Dallas playing in Chicago in January? That will be fun. Grossman and Clark find their mojo.
  16. WHoooo, that was too close. The Defense has been on the field a lot the last couple of games. Home-Field Advantage throughout! GO BEARS!!!!
