Bucs at Bears Game Thread (12pm CST, FOX, CHI -3)

Strength vs Strength, Our Defense vs Their Offense

I think this comes down to which Fitzpatrick shows up. He started to turn the ball over last week, which bodes well for us. However, Fitz has over double the passing yards than Trubisky in the same amount of games and only 6 more completions. 410 passing yards per game seems unsustainable, so Fitz should trend down from that high.

Our offense will need to score more than 16 to win.

Bears 24-20

Get to see this one in the stadium. Hope the D is up for the air attack they will bring. Trubisky will see pressure, but they give up a lot of yards in the air too. Hope to see Tru's coming out party to finish the season 1st qtr on a high note.

My key player of the game is Kush.  He needs to keep inside pressure out of Trubisky's face.  I think the D will do it's part.

For me Kevin Toliver will be the one to watch.  We know the potency for TB is their passing game right now.  And with Amukamura out, it looks as though the UDFA out of LSU is up. Some say he has a similar style of play to Peanut.  Wonder why that is?  ?

I suspect he’ll get help over the top from Jackson.

yes!

The key will be turnovers, if we can take the ball away and control the clock, we will win easy. If not, another close game that comes down to the end with us needing a defensive stop.

Um wow? 4 passing TDs and 200+ yards in a quarter and a half. Complete game so far. Keep the foot on the pedal.

Patting myself on the back ;) Soldierfiled is electric right now!

Make that 5 TD passes in one half, take that Mahomes lol!

We literally need to keep this going, don't let them back in this game.

My, my! 35-3 BEFORE halftime! Beyond expectations. Haven't seen this kind of Bear dominance since '84-86. LOVE IT.

So happy to see this before the bye. The naysaying can be put to rest for a while on Trubisky.

Where is Howard?

Way to represent!   I’d guess the fans are sticking around?  Seems awfully quiet from here.

I will have to say, I thought it was a dumb idea to keep Aaron Lynch around because he didnt play all preseason, but he can play.

I am a little disappointed we only had 4 sacks. Only 18 on the season. We need to step up, this isnt good enough.

The good thing is we have a bye this week  while I am in Thailand. We have a chance for everyone to get healthy now with the bye. A chance for MT to progress a little and our offensive to get a chance to step forward a little.

Wow. Fun fun fun. Nice for Mitch and the offense to get the monkey off the back. Hopefully this is a sign of the future!!! The crazy thing is they left points on the field still.

Loved how we played more up tempo in that first half.

Welp, that was pretty much a perfect game on both sides of the ball. Trubisky FINALLY had one of those high ceiling games, and the Bears defense continues to dominate. Never would have anticipated this, but this is the kind of stuff I needed to see, particularly on offense, to allow me to relax a bit about this teams playoff chances.

3-1 heading into the bye. Should be 4-0, but still #1 in the division. They need to take care of business against Miami, but that NE game is already getting me excited.

I bet it has Fangio and every Bear on D excited. But yea, don't look past the Dolphins.

its good to see us beating teams we should.  That was a fun game to watch but TB is a terrible team.  We should handle Miami and keep this going
