July 25, 20214 yr comment_185464 I think they wanted to make sure they had a suitor. Let's face it, they had tried to trade him for the six months with no takers. He hits free agency next year. We save 1.2 million on cap and only suffer 500k dead money. I wonder what we got in return? Anything is better than letting him walk. I read on one site a swap of late round picks. One said we receive a late round pick. Two are totally different. I'm hoping for a 5th for a 7th? It's truly a shame. I had high expectations for him. I honestly thought he'd develop into a legit #1 WR. Report
July 25, 20214 yr comment_185465 9 receptions in the last 5 games (including playoff game). He has been a non factor most of his career. They were not resigning or extending and with players reporting this week, it makes sense. Goodwin and Byrd are both better. Get something for him, just wish it was before or during the draft. What a waste of a 2nd round pick. Report
July 25, 20214 yr comment_185466 I remember games where Robinson had to line in up in formations. He was very athletic, but didn't have his head on straight. Consistency was his problem. Report
July 25, 20214 yr comment_185468 Glad we got something for him. He has talent, but he has issues concentrating, and will not likely ever fulfill his potential. Report
July 25, 20214 yr comment_185469 Looks like it was a pick swap, hopefully we at least got a 5th for him and only gave up a 7th. Report

July 26, 20214 yr comment_185486 We get a 5th in 2022 and gave them Miller and a 7th. I'm good with this trade. Miller is extremely talented but he's way too much trouble. Peace Report
July 26, 20214 yr Author comment_185488 Now maybe we can sign an insurance/backup left tackle just in case. I don't think anyone on this roster has player the position except for a few games. Report
July 27, 20214 yr comment_185490 Boom, at least they met my minimum lol. On 7/25/2021 at 7:38 AM, adam said: Looks like it was a pick swap, hopefully we at least got a 5th for him and only gave up a 7th. Report

July 27, 20214 yr comment_185497 We won't have any comp picks next year as we signed Dalton, Blackson, and Attaochu and lost RRH, Patterson, and Trubisky. Report
July 28, 20214 yr comment_185500 In related news, with the loss of Miller we gain Falcon castaway WR Justin Hardy. More a camp body and someone to look at for ST than anything I suppose. Report
July 28, 20214 yr Author comment_185501 I don't understand why the Bears keeping adding anyone other that a LT. There is no one who can serve as a backup with experience better than anyone on the team already. Really Report
