March 16, 20224 yr comment_189344 Nichols signs for $5.5 AAV. Terrible deal for him, great for the Raiders. This basically ends up as a one year deal worth $9M. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189345 Lucas Patrick had more snaps than Glowinski and Karras at cost half the price of Daniels. He played with Getsy, so he can immediately come in and assist the rest of the line on the protections and calls. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189346 Another name to watch is Billy Turner, who was cut by the Packers and wouldn't count against comp pick formula. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189347 Teams have now signed Daniels, Nichols, and Grant, but Ogunjobi negates the Daniels one. Still have ARob, Hicks, Goldman, Dalton to sign elsewhere. Report

And together they will be great in nickel. I read somewhere that Morrow started out as a safety for the Raiders. Sounds a lot like Urlacher in that regard. Watching film on him shows he’s a pretty rangy player who doesn’t mind contact. Roquan is an excellent lateral player (x axis) and Morrow seems to do better on the ‘y axis’. Will be fun to see them playing together. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189351 A ton of cuts coming in. Those guys would not count against the comp pick formula. I can see Poles targeting those guys. Some big names. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189352 Is Poles taking a nap while everyone else is getting snatched up in UFA? Report

There are still a lot of players left. Poles said he was going after Wave 2 and 3. Teams are releasing a lot of players as well. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189355 Any interest here? On a ‘team friendly’ deal if it can be done? Some say he’s got nothing left. I suppose it would be “six one, half dozen the other” between he or ARob. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189356 Yea I'd rather Julio than most of our options besides the draft Report

My guess is that he wants to go somewhere he can win for less money... Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189358 I don't imagine him wanting to come here though. We have nothing to offer him but money. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189359 In other not so shocking news. For what it’s worth, I appreciated the time he was here. Great teammate, great leader, Great Bear: Report

March 16, 20224 yr comment_189362 The only way we'd get him would be to overpay for him. No free agent is going to be like yea, let me go freeze my ass off in Chicago to lose. I believe that, we as bear fans, need to remove the thought process of thinking that any free agent will accept a prove it deal from us when were unable to prove anything as an organization. Report
March 16, 20224 yr comment_189363 We either pay to play or draft. Nobody is coming here for the hell of it. Report
March 16, 20224 yr Author comment_189365 Its always about the money, unless it's like Akin Hicks came back because he wanted to finish his career here. Wouldn't happen, bad example. Report

I suppose it all depends on the market and whether they think Chicago is a contender. Don’t know anyone who picked the Bengals to be in the Super Bowl this last year. It also might come down to how invested the team might be in actually getting him (although at this point common logic suggests Jones probably wouldn’t reciprocate). Right now TB is probably in the drivers seat (with the return of Brady) or even GB if they can’t make Adams happy. For what it’s worth our recently acquired RB from Tennessee has weighed in: Report

March 17, 20224 yr comment_189374 Oh he's crap in my opinion. If Aaron can't make him something, I'm not betting he'll ever be much. Report
