Edmunds is tied for 220th on the Bears all-time tackles list, he needs only 1,032 to pass Brian Urlacher for 1st all-time.

The world is predicting a mega blowout against the Bears, I almost think I am forced to take the Bears and the points. History tells us that games never go as predicted.  27-24 KC

Underdogs -10 or more on the road are like 1-17 in the last 18 games. That's about a 5% chance, so you're saying there is a chance?

Home dogs win much more frequently.

Notes from Jeremy Fowler:

Quote

Bears quarterback Justin Fields sought out offensive coordinator Luke Getsy and quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko after Wednesday's practice to address his public comments that coaching may have played a role in his "robotic" play through two games. Fields apologized for any misunderstanding and made clear he values their coaching. Coaches wholly believed Fields and were adamant the two sides were on the same page. And then everyone spent the rest of the week trying to get the league's 26th-ranked total offense right. After some late nights this week, the Bears are hopeful they are closer to solving the problems.

Interesting last comment. So at least it looks like they are putting in extra effort.

The Bears defense just stopped KC from scoring and made them punt, wow. Impressive start by the defense, and that was after a bad 3rd down where they decided to leave Kelce wide open. So 1 bad play, otherwise every other play was good.

Bears first drive, one good throw to Claypool, then they run twice and Carter literally gets pushed back into Fields for a near sack. Bears punt.

And of course, the Bears get a personal foul on a hit by Stevenson AND he is down. Insult to injury.

Fields sacked, ugh, Jones got by Wright way too quick, but Fields ran into the sack.

That was the example of a rookie against a premier player mismatch.  One on one the rookies gonna lose every time.  Justin should have seen that on the pre-snap and floated more left but hey…it’s easy for me from my couch to see it.

The Bears literally cannot stop anyone on 3rd down. Same today. Good on 1st and 2nd for the most part and then on 3rd, when you know they are passing, you shit the bed?

So far, 1 quarter into the 3rd game, looks exactly the same as every other quarter or game to me. I still do not see the progress.

Edmonds and Edwards have been worthless in their three game tenure.  Maybe Flus can hire Lovie to run the D...

I was actually just saying that.  Other options include Marinelli and Leslie Frazier.

Hell, bring in 54 to teach Edmunds how to play like 54.  Brisker gets hurt because the linebackers aren't doing anything...

This team is so bad. It is hard to watch.  Let's play soft zone against Mahomes so every receiver is open.

I agreed with moving on from Mack, Smith etc. because we would be in a great position in the salary cap, but this defense is bad. It’s going to be a long year whether or not Fields manages to make great strides later in the year.
