So basically we had to practically give him away. LOL

At least he will not be wasting one of our roster spots.

Yep, Peterman can be resigned now. ?

I'm surprised we got anything for him but I am impressed that Poles took ownership of the mistake and moved on asap. This would have not happened under Pace or Emery.

Peace

I won’t be surprised to see Claypool do wellin Miami and he probably can thank Bears for sending this message. If it doesn’t work than he is toast. Unfortunate cause this was a big miss, but I have zero issue dumping him.

Im impressed Poles got anything comparing the narrative going around about Claypools work ethic.

As the saying goes:  It might be that the purpose of your life is to serve as a warning for others.  There is no denying this team has played better on both sides of the ball since Claypool was benched.  It's not the typical value we want out of a 2nd Rd pick but Poles and Flus have made their statement that it's team first and anyone not on board is expendable.  Especially Poles!  So be it.

Is Claypool not in the room for the past two games have anything to do with the Bears recent offensive output?

100%  Players see and smell bullshit on a more emotional level than coaches do.  It takes a coach longer to give up on a player.  The players were probably, secretly, wishing that ESB would get those reps.  Good blocking, effort and accurate routes mean so much to the timing of the offense, let alone the psyche of the offensive unit.

right, and additionally, his poor spacing makes other routes easier to cover too. and when hes out there giving no effort on a block, hes a subtraction. better to have a lesser player who is at least trying.

I was right about this turd. I think back to his sweater picture in France. Newsflash Claypool - when you're out of the league no one is going to want you to model their clothes anymore ya turd. It was about football, and you thought it was about YOU.
