TD in the deep corner void of the cover 2 - thanks Flus!

If that was a correctly played cover 2 by the safety it’s incomplete.

well, maybe if the safety is super fast, but that deep corner is the void in the cover 2 - its where you traditionally attack it, along with the deep middle seam.

Weve all seen the cover 2 beaten in that corner many many times with all kinds of teams. It is the weakness of the cover 2.

That’s it exactly

This is terrible with us having a massive advantage in the time of possession our D should be fresh. Play calling again is piss poor.

Getsy going conservative and running Herbert into 9 defenders twice to just burn 2 timeouts was dumb. A first down was more important than the Lions timeout there. Keep the ball in Fields hands and let him win or lose it. The offense played not to lose.

Not to sit here and argue scheme but it’s the intermediate sideline out not the deep corner that gets exposed and that TD wasn’t even on the sideline.

agree to disagree. been watching football a long time, seen cover 2 beaten in that exact spot hundreds of times.

Biggest choke job by a defense in a long time.

so can we fire Flus like you promised? :(

The Bears were never gonna win if the defense allowed 29 points. The turnovers don't matter if you still allow that many TDs.
