Week 10 Official Game Thread - NYG @ CHI, Nov 9th, 12PM CST, FOX, CHI -3

Great entertaining come from behind win.

Aside from the Dallas game the Bears haven’t been dominant ALL GAME so far.  Need a lot to clean up late in the season with some solid teams ahead on the calendar.

Rest up guys, way to play all 60 minutes.  Now get back to work and make us proud.

First game I can unequivocally say they won because of their quarterback. He got no help from his receivers or head coach today.

totally agree. Caleb is our best player.

With a high per capita cholesterol count that ain’t good!  😆

Somebody get me a doctor!  Today Caleb was an absolute stud.

At one point in the game it appeared Darnell Wright just punched with one arm and completely pancaked a pass rusher.  I'll wait for the film studies to see.

totally saw it the same way. Caleb is a winner. He now has 6 4th Qtr comebacks in 26 games.

There have been a few others, but in this one there was so much against him. Drops, pressure, penalties, weather, bad defense, terrible special teams.

They were down 10 with 6:13 left from their own 9 and they scored their 2nd TD at 1:47. So 144 yards gained with 2x TDs in 3:23 of game time. They almost scored that 2nd TD too fast.

Things that are still true, defense is bad, special teams is terrible, and officials continue to screw the Bears over.

This is the first game this season that the Bears had fewer penalties than their opponent and they were still screwed by the officials lol.

Zero sacks allowed, Burns came into the game with the league lead in sacks, and had 0.

4 sacks for the defense. 2 sacks for CJGJ, 2 TFL, 2 QB hits and 9 tackles. This dude joined the team 10 days ago. Sweat with 1.5 sacks, 1 TFL, and 2 QB hits.

3 pt swing on Wright's dropped INT. Giants scored 3 pts after Jarrett's phantom penalty. Could easily have been a 10 pt win.

CJGJ- this is what Kyler Gordon was supposed to have been doing all year. Glad we gave this guy a chance and we can see a staple of DA defense work.

Yeah, and if Gordon comes back and they both play like this, this defense would be much improved instantly.

and we still might get JJ back in December too, unless I missed something (someone please correct me if theres been more news?)

The pass rush is the issue. You KNOW we are addressing that this offseason. If picks 1 and 2 went to DL I would be fine with that. I would be fine with an all defense draft, although we should look at a LT somewhere too.

6% chance to win after the incompletion on 2nd and 10 with 5:35 to play.

so you're saying there's a chance? lol

When the Patriots were down to the Falcons in the Superbowl, it was 1% for them to come back. But Im sure a lot of us said "well, it's not over, Brady is a winner and can do amazing things" some players are just winners. Caleb is a winner.

I think Luther Burden should get promoted to WR3 this week. Zaccheus would be demoted, and he earned that.

A 35% chance to win from your own 28 with 42 seconds left, LMAO!

It is time to give Burden the snaps.  He is a hungry player, maybe too much of an exhibitionist, but can be a playmaker.  I dont think Burden replaces Moore next year, but Zaccheus is without question.

With all the playmakers, its Rome one week, Moore the next.  I heard DJs dad tweeted after the game.

Yeah, Burden had some nice routes, and he catches the ball. Oz had 4 targets and 1 reception. Burden was 3-3. Loveland was 4-4.

Loveland's 17-game pace over the last 3 weeks:  74-1,195-11 TD.

I definitely agree that burden should move up the depth chart this week and replace Zaccheus.

We can wait and see about DJ in the offseason. But LOL @ your DJ's dad comment hahaha

To be fair the Giants LT kept blocking inside giving CJ a free run to the QB.  You could say those sacks belong more to the DC if that was something seen on film study.  Still CJ has to make the play that's put before him and he did.

CGJ is  an above  average player. With all the mistakes Poles has made this one appears to be a win win for literally nothing.

There were definitely some Justin Fields games where he was the best player and the primary reason for the win.

As for today, love the win, love the clutch gene, but watch that last scrambling TD again. Two WRs wide open. WIDE OPEN. I would have been much more impressed if Caleb had stopped and fired a game-winning TD pass. As it stands now, the end of game scrambling heroics remind me of guess who? Fields again.
