Trevon Diggs Cut

Obvious connection to Al Harris and if I don't have to see McCloud on the field in the playoffs I'd consider that a blessing.  He'd be a coverage upgrade over Stevenson too.  

He's not likely going anywhere for a single game so does he want to play with a playoff team?  Can he play in the slot because CJGJ can't cover anyone?

I haven't looked it up but someone posted that Diggs has a 158.3 QB Rating against, the worst in the NFL. If that is true, you literally can't get any worse and he obvious has other things going on in his life to be that bad on the field.

Hard to say where this fits in with it:  "Diggs has dealt with injuries in 2025, limiting him to only eight games. When he’s been on the field, his performance hasn’t resembled his All-Pro showing from earlier in his career. Still, if a team wants some extra CB depth ahead of the postseason, there won’t be higher-upside options than the 27-year-old".

Doubt that happens this year but with the connections, very possible for next year. I didn't realize he was 27.  Al Harris can change his luck around.

I did summer reading on Diggs.  It seems from comments from Jerry Jones is that he's not practicing like he's healthy.

He was getting cut anyway Jerry just wanted to send a message doing it a week early.   Cowboys as usual are a mess. I don’t know that we should get involved with Diggs but I’m certain that Al Harris has already made some phone calls to figure out what’s going on.  
 

i hope Jerry gives George Pickens a big contract extension because I’m enjoying the show.
