OFFICIAL NFL DRAFT DAY THREAD!

Heath Benedict is still on the board out of Newberry. He is a sleeper also.

For what round? Rinehart was a late-4th projection who I thought the Bears could snag with their #110.

Schuening is our last hope at OG. Big drop off after him.

Agreed. However, if Schuening gets selected, I wouldn't mind Robert Felton out of Arkansas, Mike Fladell out of Rutgers, or Oneil Cousins out of UTEP, who is still on the board, surprisingly.

I like the thought of Dixon as a rehabbing learning prospect because he was a Heisman candidate before his injury.

Colt Brennan was a Heisman finalist, maybe we should draft him.

He is dead. :shakehead

JACKSONVILLE, Fla (AP) — Heath Benedict, a two-time Little All-American offensive lineman at Newberry College in South Carolina, was found dead on a couch in his Jacksonville home.

Cousins gone.

Cincy getting Caldwell at 97 is a steal.

Florida players dont do too well in the NFL. i'm happy we passed on him.

That's pretty messed up. Making fun of dead people?

True, but not bad for a team to pick him up at 97. Him and Mario dropped pretty far.

Cousins gone.

Yeah, just saw that.

Maybe he didn't know he died, but that was huge news, so I doubt it.

Schuening, Schuening, Schuening - please.

Yeah, just saw that.

yeah, he is not listed on any draft board, and said he was a "sleeper".

God dammit, I sit and stare at Mel Kiper's ugly mug waiting for our 110th pick and we trade it to Miami. freakin boo!

I agree. I bet we get the 115th pick and a 7th.

The Bears must have targeted McGlynn which was a report in one of the papers he goes the last pick so they trade the pick

Good thing we're not targeting Schuening. :banghead :banghead

I sincerly apologize for not knowing about Benedict and It was not intended to be a joke!

where did are 4th round pick go...Phins traded but for what?

From the Bears website:

The Bears on Sunday traded their fourth-round pick (110th overall) to the Dolphins in exchange for Miami's picks in the fourth (115th) and seventh (208th) rounds.

I hope everyone is clear on the fact that I didn't know about Benedict.

With the Bears next pick 2 OTs Nicks Of NEB and Richardson Of Clemson. both could be possiblities.

From the Bears website:

I see JA's ultimate plan is to have every pick in the 7th round. That is where all the good players are found. hahaha :banghead

Have you ever heard of Wilbur Marshall,Jevon Kearse, Emmitt Smith and last season Ernest Graham of TB?

From the Bears website:

now what happened....we traded to the Buc's for what? are they going to have an extra round just for the Bears or what...my heads spinning, going to sit down for w minute.

WTF...another trade? When do we pick again?

ESPN is showing pick 120, or the 21st pick of the 4th round
