With the 60th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select Cody Latimer, WR from Indiana. Some have him going as early as the first round, so there is huge value that fills a need here. Carolina addressed the Offensive Line in the first with Moses, and now addresses another huge need with Latimer.

San Francisco (Jason) are now on the clock.....

With the 61st pick, the 49ers select:

Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson

Not the ideal WR since the spot is the position of need, the Niners nonetheless select Bryant because his potential, their WR corp is marginal, and his physical skills are undeniable. A 4.42 and 39" vertical at that size is crazy. He's a weapon they can't pass up at this point.

New England (bradjock) are on the clock.

With the 62 pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the New England Patriots select Troy Niklas, TE from the University of Notre Dame.

With Gronk always injured and Hernandez detained, TE is a huge need for the Patriots who like to run two TE sets. This came down to Niklas or Seferian-Jenkins. Seferian-Jenkins is more experienced, but Niklas is the better athlete. I've seen Niklas go anywhere from late first round to all the way to the 4th. One magazine said, "If there is a Gronk in the group (TE), Niklas could be the guy. He's the biggest and one of themost athletic of this year's TE group."

Denver (Stinger) is on the clock at number 63.

With the last pick of the second round, the Seahawks select:

Marcus Smith, DE, Louisville

That's what my Seattle insider wants. He didn't like the WRs at that point because there have been too many taken already.

With the 1st pick of the 3rd round the Houston Texans select....DaQuan Jones DT Penn State.

Rotoworld has the Texans needs as.

QB- Check- Bortles

OLB- Check- Shazier

And now I check their last biggest need(Nose Tackle) off the list, a big NT in DaQuan Jones.

Whoever is up after me is on the clock.

With the 66th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Washington football team selects, Gabe Jackson, OG Mississippip State.

This is a value pick here. Several rankings and mocks have Jackson going as high as the 1st round. While Washington has a desperate need in their secondary, this is the best player available and an immediate plug and play guy. Not to mention Washington needs better protection for RGIII.

Washington has only had two picks but they have drafted two likely starters. The other being LB Chris Borland.

Sorry I was slow checking back in picking. We have 34 more picks to make by Thursday . . .

Oakland (Jason) is on the clock at #67

With the 67th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders select:

Zach Mettenberger QB LSU

If he lasts this long, it's a great pick for the Raiders. Schaub is a stop-gap, not a long-term answer. I don't buy into the Savage hype.

Atlanta (Stinger) is on the clock.

Adams up at #69 with Tampa Bay. Adam will have a difficult time projecting which really bad defensive player Lovie will draft. What linebacker will Lovie take that will be out of the league in 2 seasons???

I'll be checking in regularly as I wait to pick for Buffalo at #73 then followed by the Rams at #75.

LOL. Are you sure it's not time for a Division II Safety or DB? You just know Lovie has his eye on a guy from North Savannah State A&M.

With the 71st pick Cleveland takes Carlos Hyde/ RB- THE Ohio State u

With the 73 pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Marcus Roberson, CB from the University of Florida.

Cornerback is a need for the Bills. After taking a OT and a WR, it's time to beef up the defense.

The NY Giants (Adam) is on the clock.

Going to sleep soon. So for the sake of speeding things up . . . with the 75th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the St. Louis Rams select Austin Seferian-Jenkins. TE from the University of Washington.

Unless Adam takes Seferian Jenkins at #74. If that's the case then with the 75th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the St. Louis Rams select Terrance Brooks, safety from Florida State.

So choice #1 is Seferian-Jenkins. Choice #2 is Brooks. The New York Giants are still on the clock.

The time for the NY Giants is past. BPA at a position of need is Tre Mason RB, Auburn. Let's make the selection and move on.

74 - Tre Mason, RB, Auburn

75 - Austin Seferian Jenkins, TE, UW

Detroit (scs787) is on the clock.

Even after adding Golden Tate Lions message boards are still wanting them to add another WR so.....Lions select Paul Richardson WR Colorado.

The ever so patient Jason is on the clock

Dude, I was just following the rules set forth at the beginning of the thread as best as I could.

With the 77th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Niners select Marcus Roberson, CB, Florida. He's got upside, and it's an obvious position of need.

Dallas (Stinger) is on the clock.

I'm just messin, you did the right thing...Adam has said he won't be around the comp that much so maybe we should even cut his pick time a bit more...Say 4 or 5 hours? It's the 3rd round, I'm sure he won't mind that much

Good point. It's not like there is money riding on it. I'm having fun with this, but what of are the odds that any of us actually make a correct pick after the first round?

Slim. But the odds we make a better selection aren't as slim.

What were all doing is addressing needs of the teams were picking for, after the first round, its a crapshoot for GMs and we arent any different.
