Booker back to the Bears? By Vaughn McClure, 5:18 p.m. The Bears have been contacted about re-signing receiver Marty Booker, an NFL source said Tuesday. Booker, cut by the Miami Dolphins, has drawn interest from a number of teams. The Bears were not among the initial group which contacted Booker within 24 hours of his release, but Booker reportedly has made it clear that his first preference would be a return to Chicago. With $3.1M cap savings and the drafting of Amegajie, Borom seems like the odd man out. Gaining over $3M in cap space would put the Bears back in the top 10 for cap space (currently 12th) which would allow them to bring in another DT and DE with room to spare. Other roster casualties from my perspective are: Robinson, Gill, and possibly Homer and/or Velus. The last two will be ST dependent.

Just heard on Mike and Mike that Bostic was fined for the big hit last week. Wtf? that was a legal hit, Goodell is ruining the sport.

It doesn't really matter. There are two outstanding teams in the NFC and the rest are crap. Good teams find ways to win. Great teams win. So what if we barely make it to the playoffs. It will be a quick exit if we are not kicking it on all cylinders. We are not. Cutler hurt was devasting to our chances to make it far. We have old guys on defense that can still bring it. Hey Ladies and Gents , I will be heading down to training camp in July. I've not been down there in along time. Has anything changed much ? As far as, fields , seating , parking, prices etc. I'm really looking forward to this year.
