Leno has gotten better each year but is still not even average. the only difference from Leno and Whitehair is the 2" difference in arm length, otherwise they are the same size player. I looked at last years OT class and the best OT were a little taller and they all had longer arms. The one closest to the size of Whitehair was T. Decker, his arm length is 1" longer than Whitehair. So here is what I think will happen, they will stick the best 5 OL on the field at the same time. The question that needs to be answered is how good is Grasu, if he is healthy and has become a good player, I think they move Whitehair out to LT. Whitehair played the position in col…

  2. Bears waived RB David Cobb. The ex-Titans bust made it four months on the Bears' offseason roster. Also waived Monday were RB Bralon Addison, WR Dres Anderson, CB DeVante Bausby, CB Jacoby Glenn and TE Justin Perillo. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/357...cluding-rb-cobb Bausby and Glenn were the biggest names and the crowded secondary gets thinner really quick.

  3. Pace's first chance to move on from Jay Cutler: Glennon in FA Resign Connor Shaw Sign Mark Sanchez Draft Trubisky That's 4 QBs he added to this roster. One is going to be gone unless Shaw can be put on the PS its him. So its Glennon(rumored to be upset , who cares did the check bounce and think Drew Brees when the Chargers drafted Philip Rivers) Sanchez the Dak Whisperer Trubisky who should start next year( 2018) no matter what I expect the rebuild to see offensive players in and out like the defenders last year and mostly at OL. TC should sort out WR,RB and TE. FB is going to be a wildcard.

Evaluation is even hard for experts whose jobs are on the line for their choices. Only 59% of the first round become starters. that's a high miss rate. 29% are busts. At the SB this year there were 38 UDFAs on the the two teams rosters. the point is it's hard to know where the players are coming from but the bottom line is evaluating talent. lets look at Paces drafts 2015 White-- has been injured but still has #1 WR traits. If he stays healthy we will know this answer. Goldman-- big time player with some injury issues Grasu-- may still be OC of this football team Langford-- an NFL player but is not a star Amos-- an average SS but not a bust by any…

This guy built a new trade value chart based on the 124 trades after the last CBA, which seems more accurate than the older chart. http://www.patspulpit.com/2017/4/23/153981...-chart#comments If you use this chart, the #3 pick is worth 514 pts and the #2 pick is worth 717 pts. Our 3rd rounder is worth 75 pts and our 4th rounder is worth 28. So if you give them the same value for 3rd round picks (75+75) for this year and next year, the 4th and #3, the total is 692. So surprisingly, we actually win this trade, and it is close enough to being a wash. The question becomes, was it necessary? The next team that would seem to need a QB was NYJ, and if they tried t…

I really doesn't matter what the draft experts say until we line up and snap the ball. We have just drafted players that fill a need and at the same time create nightmare mismatches fot the defense. Third down back in Cohen that they call the "HUMAN JOYSTICK" good luck catching him.Two TE'S that can both catch and run over people! A QB that can actually see over his linemen......lol. Now we have two guys that can run at the WR spot in Wheaton and Wright...some height in the red zone with White (if healthy)and Meredith. Not to entire our ground game. Last year there were games where we should have won if not for injuries.....at home against the PACKERS ...L 30-27....Lion…

Assuming it all goes well, all the realistic breaks happen for the Bears, what's your dream draft? I'm basing mine off of the idea that the Bears: A-Will not trade down B-Have 7 picks and need 7-8 positions (DE,FS,CB,TE,WR,OT,QB,OLB) C-Myles Garrett will not make it to #3 1. Jonathan Allen, DE, Bama - He makes the front seven scary. His addition makes both McPhee and Goldman more dangerous, and frees up LBs to do damage. 2. Ryan Ramcyzk, OT, Wisconsin - The run on "exciting" players and QBs causes Ramcyzk to drop right into Chicago's lap. Perfect name for a Bear. 3. Obi Melifonwu, FS, UConn - It's hard to say if he goes in the 2nd or 3rd, but many …

Is RB a high need? No. Do we need a complement to Howard? Maybe. Some say yes. If so, what does this complement need? I'd say some of the following: -Elusiveness -Home Run speed -Ability to catch out of the backfield Gents, I present to you, Tarik Cohen, RB, NC A&T. You may not have heard of this guy, but I'm pretty familiar with him. He's undersized, but pretty damn amazing. He'll likely run a low 4.4 forty, runs with power for his size, and makes the right decision over and over. He'd be a great complement to Howard.

NFL Network Charlie Casserly says he's hearing quite a bit about the Bears liking Trubisky. This is the start of the disinformation period before the draft but it's also about the time last year when we first started hearing the Bears liked Leonard Floyd. I thought all that was smoke.

With the No. 147 pick, the #Bears draft OL Jordan Morgan from D-II Kutztown. They coached him at the Senior Bowl. Draft trend, mainly small schools and sleeper picks. We will see how it works out.. It really feels like Pace tried to outsmart everyone else with some questionable trades and sleeper picks. We will see how these all turn out. Not what I expected.

With the draft complete, using our original picks, what would've been your dream draft knowing who was picked where? Only rule is you must select a player that would've been available at our slot and in the same round. Here would be mine: #3 - Solomon Thomas, DL (SF trades #2 to someone else, Thomas available at 3 since he is there, I take him) #36 - Sidney Jones, CB (wanted Cam Robinson, considered Baker and Jones, and ultimately went with a CB) #67 - Antonio Garcia, OT (the 3rd round looked much different than I expected, could've went several directions here) #111 - Eddie Jackson, S (I actually like this pick here, good job Pace, you got one right…
