Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. For years and years we have watched the draft and said to ourselves, "WTF is that pick? Why aren't they factoring in need? Who the hell is that and where did he play? Why are they trying to show how cute or smart they are? Just make smart freaking picks!!!" Is this FINALLY the GM who picks how we more or less agree? Sorry guys, but based on the horrible drafts of the past, I still don't think they were competent in their jobs, regardless of how much inside info they had. If they were that good, and that above the average person, much less the die-hard like this board, then they would have had much better success. This is especially true for JA - dartboard se…

Think it will be a cornerback. Still a need. I could really see us trading it for a late #6 and a #7.

All the guys we've taken at tall. Some similarlity to Seattle's structure of tall vs small. 6'3" for White, 6'4" for "Oscar" Goldman (sorry had to throw in a Six Million Dallar Man reference for us old guys...), and 6'3" for Grasu I'll be curious to see if this possible trend continues.

I'm not a big PFF guy, but these are interesting to note: Kevin White, WR, West Virginia Brandon Marshall is gone but fear not Bears fans because Kevin White is in town. A beast of a receiver, his physicality and ability to win downfield scared many a college defensive back and promise to do the same in the NFL. Only Amari Cooper forced more missed tackles, and only Devin Smith had more deep touchdowns (7) than the talented wideout. A truly explosive player, the tandem of him and Alshon Jeffery is one that rightly has the Bears fans in attendance sitting very pretty. This fit makes all kinds of sense. Player, Pos, College, (Big Board Rank) L. Collins OT LSU (18) T. Clemmings OT Pitt (50) G. Jarrett DT Clem (60) B. Hundley QB UCLA (63) B. Petty QB Baylor (73) J. Shaw CB USC (87) M. Hardison DT Arz St (101) R. Nunez-Roches DT S. Miss (104) I. Ekpre-Olomu CB Ore (109) D. Smith FS Fres (110) With such an early pick in the round, I don't see Pace deviating from his current draft mentality. With that, a few of these guys should be available with the 7th pick in the round. If they are not sold on Petty or Hundley, I would go Smith/Shaw/Ekpre and pray for Ryan in the 5th. So it would either be CB-LB-S or S-LB-Other in the last 3 rounds.

Dude had to get fired to REALIZE OL is important. Jamies Winston followed by OT and OG. And that's on top of the OT AND OG he drafted last year. Seriously, that guy can kiss my ass square on the butthole.
