There are few decent options this upcoming offseason, but the Bears will have to figure out who they want to pay. At this point the Bears need to get younger. By replacing ARob they can improve and get younger at the same time. Here are a few names that could come in and be potential WR1s if the Bears look to FA for that. Another option is to go by WR1BC and taking a lesser option assuming Fields doesn't need a true #1. 1. Chris Godwin, TB will not be able to afford him, he is 3 yrs younger than ARob and would fit well with Fields style of play. 8th in Rec yards with only 8 games. 50-660-4 TD. 2. One question for you..who and what postions in the upcoming FA market should we target? IMHO It should be QB,FS/SS, OG,OT,WR I just looked at some of the names at QB and found it had names like Cassel from the Patriots, Garcia from the Bucs, Collins from the Titians, Garrard from the Jaguars, and of course Qrton & Grossman. At WR Colston/Moore from the Saints, TO from Dallas, TJ H from the Bengals And Oline Dahl from the Falcons and Thomas from the Eagles,at DB Jones at SS from the Browns. With some of these playes we could make a real good push next year. Has anyone heard the status about Bently from the Browns at C/OG?

With the new CBA coming up and free agency about to start who do you think we need to really go after? IMHO we need to go after offensive lineman such as either Carl Nicks from the Saints or logan Mankins from the Patriots or one of the two from the Falcons. And next would be a big WR like Malcom Floyd or V Jackson from the Chargers or Sidney Rice or Plaxico Burress. As for my i wish we would but dont stand a chance .....would be Nnamdi Asomugha CB from the Raiders.

Ok now that the man will be free today.....the question is do we make a run to sign him once the lockout is over? IMO I would try in a heartbeat. He will be a perfect fit for the bears passing game and someone cutler can throw to. I like our WR's , but I say this all the time...with the tallest being 6'0 they are just too small to do real damage. Burress will make and have mismatches all day with the 6'1 and under DB's in the game. This will be a great advantage for the Bears, even more so in the red zone where we really need the height. So I’m perusing multiple media site; the growing sentiment is that this season is strictly about Fields’ development. Article upon article mainly focusing on his week to week growth. I’m starting to feel like the narrative is that a losing season is acceptable as long as Justin develops. I’m not sure this sits well with me. Well, we're 2 pre-season games into the new season and we seem to have more questions than we may have initially thought... I also have noticed an abundance of "I told you so's" and "don't be negative's" flowing quite heavily. Heck, I'm personally guilty of both things to some degree! I seldom believe all that is reported in practice sessions by the coaching staff. You never hear negatives. Everything is superlative adjectives. Every player sounds like a future hall of famer. A G.O.A.T. That is until it is time to cut the roster down. However, on occasion you hear something that is factual and not subjective.
