Ever since Ditka put on GB colors in commercials, the Packers have not won.

Was watching the Giant's vs Cheatriots and the potential go ahead TD for the Giants stood out to me. Beckham has possession, with 2 feet in the end zone, then the ball is ripped out by the DB it's ruled no catch.... That brought me back to the Lions game where Golden Tate barely had possession for even a split second before it's ripped out and intercepted. Yet Tate is awarded a TD, Beckham is awarded and incomplete pass. Can someone explain why Tate's was and Bechkham's wasn't. To me if Beckham's wasn't neither should Tates. I know the rules get muddier and muddier with each "judgement" call. But that play last night reinforces that we got screwed.

Their mock: 1. A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama 2. Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor 3. Darian Thompson, S, Boise St 4. Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon 5. Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford 6. Clay Debord, OT, Eastern Washington 6. Tajae Sharpe, WR, Massachusetts 6. Joe Schobert, ILB, Wisconsin 7. Jonathan Williams, RB, Arkansas I just don't understand any mock draft that ignores the ILB position for the Bears, but the DE/DE start is intriguing. My alternative according to their layout. 1. Deforest Buckner, DE, Oregon - BPA at a need position, and ILBs seem to have fallen in this draft 2. Landon Turner, OG, UNC - He's a beast. (Jaylon Smith falls to round 2?…

I've seen some drafts that start the Bears off with two DEs. I've seen some drafts that start the Bears off with an ILB and then another later. Which do you prefer? Suppose the Bears could get one of the following: OPTION 1 1. A'Shawn Robinson, DE, Alabama / DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon 2. Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor / Shilique Calhoun, DE, MSU / Jonathan Bullard, DE, Florida OPTION 2 1. Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama / Jaylon Smith, ILB, Notre Dame / Myles Jack, ILB, UCLA 2. Scooby Wright, ILB, Arizona Any other combos like those you prefer? Would you hate either? The way I see it is, the team's two starting DEs are serviceable at lea…

Watching the combine and two guys are impressing me today. Christian Hackenberg and Vernon Adams have both shown great accuracy and good footwork. I really like Hackenberg's release point and quick delivery. And Hackenberg's arm strength is good without much effort. Adams looks like he has to load up a bit to get the long ball out - especially the post-corner, but he is putting it right where it needs to be every time. Loved Connor Cook's anticipation. Jacoby Brissett looks slooooow and his delivery mechanics are slower. He has some things to work on. On the other hand, Treyvon Boykin looks very, very uncomfortable and rushed. His footwork is horrible. H…

I'm all in. I like the way this guy operates. Compiling draft picks. Smart moves, good budget, building for future years, picks with upside. He seems to be doing everything right. Who is NOT a fan of this guy right now?

After the Bennett trade, and after the rookie pool, and including the ridiculous Alshon Jeffrey cap his, we STILL have 15 million to spend. The Bears have been good about spending the maximum amount. We typically annually do some roll-over where we have 5 million extra to spend each year. We have 15 million to spend and I can't think of a single notable free agent we need to worry about resining next year. How the hell are we going to spend 15 million?

The Bears have done another good job at creating excitement for this seasons team. The retooled defense will have a different look for sure. The offense will be a wait and see as they made some major moves too. I like to walk the edge with my player picks: Defense Deiondre Hall DB - this guy has good length, high football IQ, and does what it takes in run or pass. I do not see him getting much time to showcase his game early on unless there are injuries. His skill set will compliment Fuller well since he w is great against the run. Donatell will do good grooming Hall and I think he will be a name we watch making plays on Sundays. Offense Eddie Royal WR- …

This is interesting. I would say Cro's price has come down enough that Pace will talk to him plus we haven't seen much from our young CBs (at least I haven't). With Fuller on the shelf for a few weeks it might be worthwhile to bring in a proven vet who can step in right away and play better than any of the backups behind Callahan. Perhaps more importantly is that it would keep Callahan inside where we have even less depth. The question then becomes one of filling out the special teams roster but I think we've seen enough goodness on special teams from a lot of depth players that they can figure out how to get around that if they choose to. http://www.windyc…

Play good enough to win but refs do everything in their power to help us with higher draft pick. Last drive was crazy, multiple ticky tack hiding calls, then a no-call against DET for DPI and we lose by 3.

Kinda forgot about this guy, but the talent is there. From the looks of it he has a very poor work ethic and that is what kept him out of the league last year. Bears WR coach Curtis Johnson seems like a guy who might be able to get the best out of him because he won't put up with his BS. Maybe the year off will be the kick in the ass he needs and he'll come back hungry and willing to put his talent to good use. In his 2nd to last year he had 971 yards and in his last year he had 8 TDs, so again, there is some talent there, all that remains to be seen is if he is willing to use it.

Former RB for the Rams. So I guess that takes drafting an RB off the table? Not a bad choice. He's more a scat back. Reminds me of Sproles. Definitely different than both Langford and Howard. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2017/03/21/bea...to-1-year-deal/

He ran a 4.52 forty at the combine and it shows on the field where he is quick to get open and can threaten defenses deep down field. He is an aggressive inline blocker, not the strongest and often gets himself overextended. That's correctable and at least his heart is in it. I think there should be more talk about drafting him and I think he'd be a good fit in the role Miller plays in our offense. https://www.landof10.com/iowa/iowa-tight-en...inating-blocker

3. Chicago Bears Kiper: Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State | Watch highlights Safety is a clear need. I had gone with Jamal Adams here, but Hooker is more of a center fielder-type with deep range and great speed. He has some Ed Reed in him as a playmaker. In his first season as a starter, he had seven interceptions in 2016, including three pick-sixes. McShay: Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama | Watch highlights Stick with the tape on Allen. He's still our No. 2 overall player, even after mediocre workouts. Allen's quickness and power help him constantly push the pocket as a pass-rusher, and he had 22.5 sacks in the past two seasons. The Bears could use a solidifying forc…

I'm actually very surprised to see him in this role. Both because I never thought he'd want to be there and because I never thought a broadcaster would want him there. It will be interesting to hear his analysis. "What you're really looking for here is the guy who is in blanket coverage between the FS and CB." http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/former-...oins-the-media/

The Bears have to be one of the most unlucky teams in the history of the NFL. http://www.letsbeardown.com/2017/06/14/bea...ers-for-the-st/ These may be last year's injury, but they are sore reminders of bad luck.
