Hi guys and ladies, I went out to T.C. Monday and came away optimistic about our defense. The players who really stood out were Lamarr Houston, Hayden, Fuller, and on offense wr's Williams and Wilson. It's the second day of pads and still early in T.C. so take for what it's worth. Houston is the real deal inside or out, thank God for the red shirts Qb's wear. It seems he goes all out every snap with BAD intentions in mind. J. Allen is what we expected I'm glad he's on our team now. Hayden doesn't show any signs of last years injury and is playing well. Hi guys! When I recreated the league, it set a default draft date of this Sunday. I've changed it to Sunday the 24th of August, but that's written in sand. For the weekend of Sat/23rd Sun/24th, when are times that people are absolutely not available? Also, we only have 8 signed up so far. Are there people that just haven't signed up yet? Otherwise we have 4 slots available if anyone would like to join. I prefer 12 team leagues but we can go with 8 if that's what we've got. Give me your thoughts

The fantasy football update I read this morning said it's probably nothing but "sore foot" can becomme something more severe. Has anyone heard an update?

If a player decides to hold out a entire season, what is his status the following season? Does he still owe the team work for the previous year? Does it matter how many years of service? Also does it matter if it's the final year of a contract? Gurus needed!:

mikecwright Michael C. Wright I don't post play by play. But wow, Kyle Fuller dove in front of WR for a nice pick just now. Hopefully we got something special with this guy and will be seeing lots of amazing plays for picks by him!!!

Hopefully Mr Wilson makes the team and stays healthy. He will bring a toughness to the secondary that we have not had in a long time!

The great Brian Urlacher was on the Score yesterday. In an interview, he was talking about how good the Packers are going to be with the addition of Julius Peppers. With all the years of being paid well from the Bears and all the catering they did to him,he keeps taking shots at them because of the failed last contract. As far as Im concerned he's quite a jerk with sour grapes attitude he carries.

The battle for LB is clearly going to be the most competitive position battle in training camp. I put the battle for safety spots right behind it because I think the talent at LB is better overall. We have Briggs as the only player slotted to a role. After him we have D.J. Williams, SMC, Bostic, Greene, and toss in UDFA Christian Jones. Reggie Herring was very complimentary of SMC and Bostic when he recently stated either could have started for him at MLB in Dallas or Houston. DJ says he's not going to the bench without a fight. ESPN's Michael Wright doesn't even have Greene making the final cut with the team preferring Jordan Senn's special teams abilities…

Does anyone have a ticket connection? I'm looking for 2 tickets to the Niners Bears game. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg and have hoped to get lucky on the individual game sale for San Fran but being the first game in the new stadium, obviously high demand. Am crossing my fingers someone somehow has a Niner connection (or a real good Bear connection) to get tickets at or near face.

This is going to be a fun and exciting season! I'm fired up for football and its only July!!!

Just wanted to send out a friendly reminder to all those that participated in last year's TalkBears leagues. A few of the leagues have been renewed, so if you played last year, get back in and activate your team. If not, we will start looking for replacement Gm's.
