For how well the media liked the Bears draft, the oddsmakers do not like this team. They have the T-9th lowest win total at 7.5. With a 17 game season, that is basically the old 7-9 record for a 16 game season (so a coin toss between 8-9 or 7-10). So the Bears are going to end up with a top 10 pick? What am I missing? In terms of snap counts, they lost Trubisky, Fuller, and Leno. That is really it. No offense to Mitch, but he was a terrible QB and Foles was not much better. Dalton/Fields is at least +2-3 wins. I took the time to watch the game again and I'll start my thoughts with the QB. I was a bit harsh on Trubisky in my other post where I said this was his worst game. He had the two picks and early on looked like he was trying to be too perfect or over-analyzing things. Announcers were critical of him for over throwing Jordan Howard in the flat in the first quarter but didn't acknowledge the hand of a defender that he had to throw over to top of. I don't regret at all the chance he took with Robinson when it was a foot short. In time he'll have a better feel for that throw. Truely blows my mind how Bears Staff can continue this garbage-fest. MCkinney immediately named starting LT for Ravens. Argueably on of the top OLINes in league even before this. And yet here bears are two years in a row with scrubs who they "like". im still not one to suggest signing every FA. But glaring holes exist and talent is available to fill it.. I haven't been on the Orton wagon, ever. The only positives I've seen from him were he isn't made of glass. His 2nd half last night reminded me of how bad he can play. However, over the course of this season, he actually seems to be improving. He almost seems to be moving towards being a middle of he pack to even proficient at times. If he continues to limit the mistakes and actually learn each week, I am thinking he may just work out. The big thing that leaps out at me at this point is time of possession. Well thats saying something for his statement afte r it happened, But he still played like crap and did not deserve to be on the field of play. Just glad his legal crap was dismissed, maybe now he will wake up and smell the coffee.

I know this is a wet dream, but there has to be at least SOME truths to rumours that he can be available. So knowing he has one year left on his contract, and wants an extension, perhaps Philli will want to move on with Klobb. Question is, what would it take to get him here? First round pick? More/less? What would the Bears give up for him? Personally, if we could get McNabb, I would give up a number one and three. Draft online in round 2 and sign free agent receiver... Watched the tape from mini-camp on the Bears website. Larry Meyer mentioned that Joey had put on 15 pounds of muscle and looks extremely impressive. Look for him to take a big step up this yr at least on special teams. Peace

Is this guy as good as the article is claiming? I did not have a chance to watch any of the regular season college football and know zip squat about the players entering the draft other than what I read. They make this guy sound like a can't miss prospect.
