Per Tribune Dirk is gone. Looks like the Bears may have to change their minds about Jeremy Bates, if he would even consider the position now.

So, I was wondering. You think GB lost so they could get a better position in the draft? Sorry...feeling giddy.

per walterfootball.com Don't how credible Charlie Campbell is, but this makes for great talk regardless. If they traded way up for Blackmon and signed Finley, that would be a GREAT offseason. However, I'd rather see them hold onto the picks it'd take to get Blackmon and use those to get younger on D and better on O. Trading 2 first rounds + a 2nd is a bit much for an unknown commodity. Blackmon would be an offensive improvement obviously, but that's just 1 guy and leaves a lot to be desired on the OL.

Imagine if the Bears got Devin Hester in the right position from the get go. He's failed at DB and has never lived up to the #1 WR that the Bears envisioned. Maybe if he was used primarily out of the slot he'd do better, or maybe not. But I think using him like Darren Sproles would've been the best way to go. Return specialist and change of pace RB. Hub Arkish brought this up and I thought this would be an excellant thought to consider. RB is alot easier to learn and Devin should grasp it pretty quickly. He would probably be open more often than not coming out of the backfield and being a check down or screen option. Combine comparison of the two- Devin H…

Kellen Davis shows it all in this one. Route running, hands, agility, strength, elusiveness, speed. All he needs is more opportunities to catch the ball and show what he can do. In this highlight reel, he displays his talents even more. Pay careful attention to nasty one-hander at about 2:51. The Bears don't need another TE. They need to work with what they have and develop the obvious talent.

QB Jay Cutler 2014 Nate Enderle 2015 Josh McCown FA Caleb Haine FA The Bears will need to address the #2 QB this offseason. Josh McCown earned a good look, but the Bears will continue to explore other options. Kyle Orton is linked to wanting to come back to Chicago, the place he calls home. David Garrard and Tice were together in Jax, so I'll throw him out there as well Draft Pick-highly unlikely this year, the Bears need to put effort in Enderle and need a capable #2 RB Matt Forte FA Marion Barber 2013 Tyler Clutts 2014 Armando Allen "undisclosed" Kahlil Bell RFA The Bears RB is not in a good situation. What are your thoughts on adding him? Had 9.5 sacks last year. With as many holes that need attention I'm wondering if he can be signed without having to break the bank? Mario Williams is reported to be the Texans top priority and the Franchise tag is still an option according to their GM, so maybe Mathis is a good option to add help along the Dline. Im not saying that WR and Oline are not the most pressing needs for the Bears. Thought i should add that before someone jumps me for talking about something other then oline and wr hahaha

It has the Bears taking WR Michael Floyd. That'd be good with me. Interestingly, it also has Mohamed Sanu going before Alshon Jeffrey.
