Cole is reporting that Vincent Jackson has narrowed his choice to the Bears & Bucs. Take it for what it is worth. Note: I personally put little validity into these type of leaks because I assume they have to be coming from the players and their reps and they probably want to throw a few teams out there to push/drive the market. I have to believe Emery has kept his free agent plans very close to the vest given the way he plans on running the Bears (e.g., secretively).

Since we got Marshall....I think our focus in FA should be with Nicks from the Saints and Winston from the Texans. With those two we could have a great Oline for Cutler. Some same Winston is a RT...so put himthere and move Gabe to the left. I would be better than Webb right? So where does Nicks play LG..then move Williams to RG...let them (Spencer,Williams) fight it out. Or you can line then up this way...sure will be better than last years line!!! Since we signed Marshall(WR) and Campbell (QB) I think going after Williams will cost to much, so would go after Kamerion Wimbley and put him at DE instead....saves lots of money and gets a good pass rusher. Now with that we might be able to land either Grubbs/Nicks (G) and or Winston(OT) which would make our Oline better than las year. In the draft get either Floyd or Hill in the first and we are good in the Offense side of the ball. Then there is talk of adding Hayden at CB, Carlson at TE, Landry at safety we might have a great team next year.

If we can spend a little why not get Jay another FA target like Laurent Robinson from Dallas and still draft Floyd/Hill? Marshall, Robinson,Floyd/Hill Hester, Bennett, Knox those would create a lot of match up problems for the other teams coaches and their secondaries. We would then win a shoot out with the Packers!!!!
