We need to get three players right now to have a chance at a great season 1 Jones at RB, 2 Bentley at RG/LG and Culpepper at QB. Now I know that you are going to give me some heat about this post......but look at this as I do. 1. If we get Jones he can be a great 1-2 punch with Forte. He won't have to carry the load so we can save him and Forte from alot of pounding. We need to look at the overall off-season to see what Poles has accomplished this year. Got the best coach on the market and spent good money on assistants. Added to both lines with quality additions. Added contracts for Gordon and Jackson who were on last years. The draft gave us 4 quality players in the first 4 picks. 2 potential all pro types and 2 first year contributors. The rest of the draft gave us high risk high upside players. Based on everything I have read so far. I feel like the following is going to happen: Only 3 QBs will go in the top 8, which might give the Bears potential to trade down. Either Levis or Richardson could be available at #9. For defenders, Anderson and Wilson both will be gone before 9. I think Carter goes in the top 8. Seattle or Detroit. Looking thru the stats today, I could not believe Jeffery was still 2nd on the team in receiving yards. He also has the longest reception by a WR this year at 42 yards. It will be really nice to have him back in the mix with Bennett and Hester opposite of Marshall (who is tearing it up).

How so many on this board seem to think they have a handle on what this new regime is going to? We have to mesh guys from 3 different organizations just to form our offensive and defnsive schemes. We have no draft history on our FIRST TIME GM and his working reklationship with our NEW HEAD COACH and his coordinators. So tell me why do you think you know what this group is going to do on personnel moves etc.

Sounds about right. I don't think he'd have gotten fined at all if it weren't for his opening his mouth earlier in the week talking about it before he did it. Tarik Cohen got 99 carries last year to Jordan Howard's 250. The split figures to change a bit since Cohen is incumbent and Howard is gone. So let's call it 125/225. Mike Davis got 112 carries in a 3-way rotation in Seattle last year. There's nearly no doubt at all he can carry more of the load. Additionally, for the coaching staff to dump Howard and pick up Davis, they had to feel pretty comfortable about his fit in the system and his ability to replace Howard for the most part. If there are roughly 225 carries to spread around, then Davis figures to get north of 150 of those carries. I'd guess 175-ish. Which leaves 50 carries or so. That doesn't sound like a b…
