  1. This is the perfect game for the Spiderman meme. Bears 32nd Passing Attack, Falcons 30th, Bears 1st Rushing Attack, Falcons 4th. On defense, both teams are near the bottom of the league in pts allowed (Bears 24.7 vs Falcons 25.0) and sacks. This is a Fields homecoming game, but also a Cordarrelle Patterson, Ryan Pace, Germain Ifedi, Abdullah Anderson, Nick Kwiatkoski Revenge Game. Falcons are 3-2 at home. The Falcons have lost their last two with their last game being a loss to PJ Walker and the Panthers by 10. They are somehow 4-6, but are not much better than the Bears, but are only 1GB for 1st place in their division. I feel like this will be very s…

Just a series of questions, but please feel free to add. Now that the season is over, can we please find out what is wrong with all injured players. Tommie Harris His knee (or knees). How bad are they? If he requires surgery, can he please have it NOW and be at 100% next season. As he did have flashes of brilliance and he does play hard, the only reason for his downturn in numbers and performance must be the injury. I think if he is 100% next year, we will be ok on the inside of the line (with whomever playing next to him) Vasher Did he have surgery yet? Will he be back at 100% Again, why the drop off in production? Urlache…

    1. Duke Robison, OG, Oklahoma ---we need to get younger on the OL, best OG to come out of school in quite some time, fierce run blocker, good pass blocker 2. Auston English, DE, Oklahoma ---face it, our pass rush has been brutal, and English is a guy who never quits 3. Nic Harris, S, Oklahoma ---okay I didn't notice I just have them taking 3 straight Oklahoma guy, but Harris is a big guy (6'3, 230) and he can be tutored by Brown if we re-sign him for a year. He isn't the fastest guy but he's a big hitter and has a nose for the ball 3 (C4B). Vance Walker, DE/DT, Georgia Tech ---this may not be popular, but Walker can play DT if Dusty and Tommie continue to st…

Alright so I'm kinda getting ahead of myself here, but I find looking at the 2015 season very intriguing.....Look at who we already have locked up... QB-Cutler/Fales RB-Forte/Carey WR-Marshall/Jeffery/Wilson TE-Bennett/(Onubun) LT-Bushrod LG-Slauson C- ? RG-Long RT-Mills DE-Allen/Houston/Young DT-Ratliff/Ego/Sutton LB-Bostic/SMC/Greene/(Jones) CB-Jennings/Fuller/Frey SS- Mundy FS- Vereen They have all of that AND about 30M in cap space. Hypothetically speaking if Bostic takes a step forward, SMC proves to be a solid LB, Greene shows the talent I saw in him in college, Vereen takes the starting FS job and runs with it, and …

Release Hester, Spaeth, and Davis. Keep Melton- 5 years, $37.5 million Keep McCown- 1 year, $850,000 Keep Scott- 2 years, $3 million Keep Allen- 1 year, $750,000 Sign Will Beatty- 4 years, $22.5 million 1. Alec Ogletree, MLB, Georgia --The rich history of MLB's for the Bears continues. Ogletree is fast and instinctive. If he puts on 10 pounds of muscle and stays out of trouble, he will be a beast. *Trade our 2nd to Cincinnati for a 3rd, 4th, and a 7th* 3. Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia --Bailey might have the best combination of speed and skill in this draft, along with his former teammate, Tavon Austin. 4. Khaseem Greene, OLB, Rutgers --Lett…

  7. Crazy to think the opening line has the Bears favored, but they do. My assumption is that will slide to DAL being the favorite as the week goes on and DAL gets hammered with money. At this point, it is probably another loss until something happens with the defense. If they can't get pressure, they can't have Stevenson out there trailing WRs by 5 yards on every play. I don't even know what type of coverage he is playing, but he has been one of the worst players on the defense, and teams just start targeting him on every play. Hopefully the offense decides to get the TEs involved because they combined for only 3 targets against DET. 2 for Kmet and 1 for Loveland. …

Kenny Britt is flaky. Darrius Heyward-Bey's hands and route-running are suspect. Hakeem Nicks was overweight and not in great shape when the Ravens worked him out Friday. In other words, the receivers are a suspect group, and a few of them we thought would be picked in the first round are going in the second. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...20/draft/1.html Let 'em fall. The Bears will scoop 'em up...

I have always said a team should have an identity. Teams usually win with a dominant side of the ball. Rarely does a team win a championship without either. That being said, the brass wants our identity to be a dominant defensive team with a ball control offense winning the time of possession battle. What is the best path to establishing the goal, now that we've filled holes in FA? Let's pose a draft strictly on that...

He had two points today: 1. He's almost positive Hanie will be making his first career start on Sunday. 2. Hub was saying that they couldn't do 3 step drops because the receivers can't be trusted. Cutler had to move Hester on many plays because he was lined up on the wrong side. He flat out did not trust that the receivers would be where they were supposed to be.

Warning Long Post Incoming I am starting to think Poles is just a very average GM that got lucky. Just think if the Bears didn't have the #1 pick in 2023? He picked Eberflus over a bunch of better options. There were all kinds of problems with other staff members and in less than 3 years, they are already on their 2nd OC, DC, RB Coach and a whole bunch of other coaching positions. He got rid of players like Montgomery who signed for less than the Bears paid Swift for and Monty is clearly the better RB. He let other players walk like Daniels only to pay someone like Davis. He replaced Mooney with Tyler Scott. He drafted Gill, to cut him and draft Taylor in…

Seriously, STFU. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...nect-management If you were really concerned, you'd be playing HARDER, to ensure your next massive pay day. Instead, you will use this as an excuse to slack off so you don't get a boo boo.

Looking at some players that will make the PS this year I figure 2 to be a shoe in is Kinder and Knox. He showed flashes but Igeslias have shown more. So I figure the Bears will keep Rideau, DA, Hester, Bennet igeslias and Davis. But that only if Davis sticks, If released , look for Knox to make the roster. Any thoughts?

According to Betus.com they have us listed as 3 1/2 pt underdogs. This is a bit surprising as this would mean that on a neutral field they like GB by almost a TD.
