I for one am not worried about the WR core this year, BM is obviously a number 1. I think Bennett, with his connection with Cutler going back through Vandy, is a SOLID #2 who I think can really develop into a #1b and IMO thats not even up for debate. I also think if hes utilized properly, like a Brandon Stokley, Hester will be a real good #3. I think people forget that not too long ago Hester put up 700+ yards in a season and if utilized correctly I dont see why he cant have another good year this year with more weapons around them or at least put up good #3 receiver numbers(500-600yds id say). I took a look at the 2008 Denver Broncos, the year Cutler went to the pro…

I know Nike recently came out with the new jerseys and we all had disagreements on if "classic" jerseys should be modernized, so I ask: what jerseys are your favorite and least favorite around the league? 2 or 3 of each would be fine.

I certainly appreciate everything that Hester has done for this team - he's been the only aspect of this team I am consistently excited about. However, given the league changes that minimize the impacts of a returner, the Bears' apparent dissatisfaction with him as a WR (evidenced by the additions of Thomas and Weems, their focus on top WR prospects, and that he had his lowest receptions since his rookie year last year), and the fact that his contract is up in 2013, would you consider trading Hester if the right deal came along? I'm not sure what that would be (3rd round pick maybe?), I just look at the way last season andthis offseason has unfolded, and wonder how expe…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/...il-could-slide/ I don't see it happening but... What if Kalil falls out of the top 10? What would it take to move up 8 spots and would it be worth it to you? Please no bitching about the Bears winning the last game in this post...

Former Nebraska CB Alonzo Denard got into a fight outside a bar in Lincoln Neb and pushed and punched a cop who was trying break up the fight. He was rated to go between the 2nd and 4th roundby some scouts. That thud you hear is his draft stock hitting the ground. BTW Is it me or does it seem that most of the defensive players that have character issues as prospect usually don't change on the next level ? Pacman Jones,Tank Johnson,Parrish Cox and Aquib Taleb of the top of my head in recent memory.

If you really take a look at our roster we have 12 O linemen, 3 that can play center,9 that can play guard, and 4 that can play tackle. I know that it does not equal 12....thats because some of the players have played two positions. Now we have listed at OT Webb, Carimi, Horn, Louis. WE have Garza C/OG at center And at guard we have Spencer C/OG, Louis OG/OT, Rachal, E.Williams OG/C, C.Williams OT/OG, Henry,Stephens,Wrotto. Now we got Brown as a UDFA to throw in the mix so do we keep the same starters from last year or are we going to let them fight it out. Webb, C.Williams Brown at LT.....Rachal, E.Williams at LG Garza and Spencer at center, Louis, Garza Spencer at RG..C…

Newly-acquired defensive tackle Brian Price has passed his physical with the Bears and will wear No. 95; LB Adrien Cole switches from No. 95 to 49. So switching from 95 a LB number to 49 a RB/DB number to me is just telling him that he will not make the team.

http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post...-dominant-force This has my hopes up. I really didnt like the first round pick. Im not saying he wont be good just not amped up about him. I really liked the Alshon pick tho. If he can be a threat this offense can be great. You got Cutler, the Beast, Forte as the center points. If Jeffrey and Hester can be used correctly the possibilities are endless. Im also a fan of Bennet, when Cutler was in there they made some great plays. Bennet was not seen after Cutler got hurt, hoping that was due to the O falling apart. Lets hope that the Oline with a new blocking scheme and guys healthy will be good enough, they dont have to…

Feel free to blast this idea but with our shortage of safeties that can play, could it hurt to take a look and hope he can develop? I mean come on, that bloodline rules... Myron Rolle cut by Steelers

In the event that Urlacher finishes the season with the bad knee who would you look to draft, sign in FA or trade for to replace him in the middle?

He is literally awful...

Until the following changes, I forsee the same problems we saw tonight. 2012 - DL: 1, OL: 0 2011 - DL: 2, OL: 1 2010 - DL: 4, OL: 7 2009 - DL: 3,4, OL: 7 2008 - DL: 3,7, OL: 1,7 2007 - DL: 2, OL: 4, 7 2006 - DL: 3,5, OL: 6 That's two first round LTs, one of which was an injury question mark coming out of college. Otherwise, OL is pretty much disregarded by this franchise. But DL? Every single year it gets attention. And that's just the draft picks! Don't forget about Gaines Adams. But, yeah, let's solve the problem by trading next year's 7th rounder for another OLineman. That'll work.

If this team does not make the playoffs, Lovie and his staff should be fired. Emery should be allowed to bring in who he wants. Peace

Need huge holes in D filled

Haven't been able to verify yet.

I brought up Miller when talking about Mundy (he has him ranked as the 26th of 75 safeties)...Well now he's talking DEs... #16 Jared Allen Having signed with the Chicago Bears for 2014, Jared Allen could make a huge impact in helping rebuild a once great defense. Allen will join newcomers Willie Young and Lamarr Houston to give Chicago a solid, aggressive rotation at defensive end. #10 Willie Young Young isn’t well-known outside of the NFC North, but his physicality and the opportunity presented to him in Chicago give him the ability to launch himself onto the national radar in 2014. #6 Lamarr Houston One of the best all-around defens…
