A couple articles that I thought make good reading as we get closer to the draft. The first is an excellent data driven analysis of draft trends by position. Well he may have moved into the first round... ran between a 4.35 -4.4... consistently ran in the low 4.4's

Think it will be a cornerback. Still a need. I could really see us trading it for a late #6 and a #7.

AM 1000 reporting that Goldman and Fabaluje didn't finish drills today at mini camp. I must admit that it is extremely humid and hot here today and that may have been a factor for these 2 big boys.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Kevin White (shin splints) will resume running next week. It's the first time we've heard White's mysterious shin injury referred to as "splints." It's a painful injury typically suffered by runners upping their training or going too hard. White must have been ramping up his workouts in anticipation of his first NFL camp. Rapsheet reported earlier Thursday that the reserve/PUP list is a possibility for White, but also that he's "itching to go." So not only did everyone know what we were doing offensively...evidently they knew what we were doing defensively last year. This was out of Biggs 10 thought on Bears piece.

This team will probably not win a game the rest of the year without Cutler. This team NEEDS Cutler. His big arm is the only thing keeping the defense honest. Clausen. LOL. Crazy how bad he looked.

First I have to admit the free tequila shots at the bar made this game feel better than it was. Cutler: With another Oline combination in front of him against a strong pass rush threat he kept his composure and stayed within the game plan. Overall a good game with no turnovers. Oline: I think these guys were the cause of all the conservative play calls early in the game. The Bears are doing exactly as they should and are starting to bring up some practice squad players to get a look at them. Timu moves up to the active roster to see if he can redeem himself from earlier mistakes. ILB is a definite need heading into the offseason and I like this move. We might even see Timu on defense sometime in the last couple games. I assume they'd give him at least a full two weeks of practice before putting him in that spotlight. When we get to day 3 of the draft one of the positions we need to fill is KR and especially PR. I'd have no problem if we took chance with Braxton Miller.
