Obviously it's way too early to probably worry about it but if the team does do reallly well this year, it could make for some dicey negotiations. IMHO the real postion battles that we should keep an eye on is the Oline. These are the players we have on the roster Roberto Garza C, Chris Spencer C ,Cory Brandon OT, James Brown OT, Gabe Carimi OT, A.J. Greene OT, Tyler Hendrickson OT, J'Marcus Webb OT, Ricky Henry OG , Lance Louis OG ,Nick Pieschel OG Chilo Rachal OG, Chris Williams OG Edwin Williams OG/C. Looking at these players i think from the start that Greene, Hendrickson,Henry,Brandon and Pieschel wont make the team...that just me. The GM spoke about Henry, Pieschel and Rachal so who knows...but I have a feeling that its going to be Williams LT, Spencer LG, Garza C, Louis RG Carimi RT as the 1st string,…

For a late round pick. 6'1, 301. DT from Tampa Bay. I remember he was taken 35th overall a few drafts ago out of UCLA. Supposedly, he's a headcase. He punched a teammate last year. He's been in the NFL for 2 years, and had 0 sacks his first year and 3 last year.

Newly-acquired defensive tackle Brian Price has passed his physical with the Bears and will wear No. 95; LB Adrien Cole switches from No. 95 to 49. So switching from 95 a LB number to 49 a RB/DB number to me is just telling him that he will not make the team.

Every year it amazes me how many rookies go unsigned into camp, and sometimes into the season. Looking at this year's list, there were a bunch of players that could've ended up on the Bears. Guys like Blackmon (if we traded up), Kendall Wright, DeCastro, and Poe from the first round come to mind. Some others like DeVier Posey and Trumaine Johnson from later rounds are also unsigned. What could you possibly be holding out for? You are basically slotted, and unless the team is under-cutting the slot, these should be easy deals. I really liked the Alshon pick tho. If he can be a threat this offense can be great. You got Cutler, the Beast, Forte as the center points. If Jeffrey and Hester can be used correctly the possibilities are endless. Im also a fan of Bennet, when Cutler was in there they made some great plays. Bennet was not seen after Cutler got hurt, hoping that was due to the O falling apart. Lets hope that the Oline with a new blocking scheme and guys healthy will be good enough, they dont have to…
