Too little too late? After losing 4 straight games after starting 3-1 with an anemic offense, you finally decide maybe now it's time to admit your mistake and go back to what worked last year? I am glad they are doing it, don't get me wrong, but it seemed like everyone was calling for this back in Week 1. Daniels is clearly struggling, and with him at Center, he can't help Coward at RG, making a huge void in the line. So I like the move and think it is long overdue.

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer Bears have signed long-snapper Aaron Brewer to one-year contract. Brewer spent the last four years with the Denver Broncos where he previously played under Bears coach John Fox and special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers.

Bears 10-4, still have outside shot at a first-round bye, though very unlikely. The game is still important to at least lock in the #3 seed. Interesting to see the line only at -4. Seems like maybe we should put them all in one place (both Bears cuts and other cuts that might interest the Bears). So far, Biggs is reporting Clermond, Peterson, Buenning, Hood, Jason Davis, and Raiola. Interesting to see Buenning and Hood cut loose. That probably keeps Lance Louis and Trumaine McBride in play. Also, Andrew Walter got cut from the Patriots. The Bears were interested in him when the Raiders cut him loose, so maybe the QBs end up being Cutler, Walter, and Haine.

There has been a lot of chatter about Emery's first draft class and rightly so with only Jeffrey panning out so far. With all the talk of the money wasted by Pace and his so so selections in the draft and free agency we could be in a good situation in the offseason. It looks like the contracts are Bears friendly and prove it and you get paid or we move on without it majorly affecting our cap. The contracts below are from over the cap and the only players I would definitely want to keep are Trevathan with a possibility of Sitton, Demps and Young. Then if you consider the injuries to starters and hope this will improve especially if they can work out why it’s happening.
