Eric Berry, fantasy guru, was just on ESPN FT and said that Hester is the biggest sleeper in FF this year. He led the Bears in times targeted last year, and had 8+ FF points in 4 of the Bears last 6 games. I agree with him. I'll be laughing by season's end when Hester is a 1100 yard receiver and I get him in round 10.

I am watching this so called football game and was just wondering what everyone thinks that Lovie's thoughts will be this week for the inept effort for the apparent loss to Baltimore? Will he blame that fact of the difficult travel in getting to Baltimore or will he just say that he did not prepare he's team once again for the game? At some point someone in this organization needs to be held accountable and it does not seem that any one will ever be accountable for how pathetic that this team has become.

This years draft is suppose to be strong in the DB area, both CB & S. However, the Bears are so weak in this area I can see us addressing it in FA & the draft. Let the debate begin. However unfair, this season is likely to cost Flus, Getsy and Fields their jobs. I hate it, due to being so hopefull, but snake bitten is what it is. So far in 2 games he exceeded all expectations of this year in passing, Its phenominal to see this on a bears team. I never have seen this in 1/2 century of existance. Game 1. 108.3 Game 2. 136.7 If this persists we maybe in for quite a year.

I can see it now. We win the game but hear the "the Bears get lucky again facing a team with key injury" kinda deal. IMHO Sanchez isn't that good as it is. The easy headlines for this game will be if the Jets win "Sanchez plays tough through injury and leads his team to victory." According to Rotoworld, the Jets are inquiring about Brandon Marshall and the Eagles are shopping Reggie Brown. Denver is making it sound like Marshall's not really available (read: they're trying to drive up their price) but I'm not sure we'd want a guy like that anyway. Denver probably wants a 1st and then some, and Marshall's not worth that much risk. On the other hand, as much as I like our young receivers, I could see trading a 4th or something for Reggie Brown. I know this won't be a popular thought, but I would rather see the Bears bring back Martz as OC than to put Cutler and the offense through another learning curve. I see no reason to install another offense when Lovie only has 2 years left on contract. We have an good defense & special teams, but a defecient offense. No matter what/who's system we run, it will always be defecient unless we invest more into it (and many have said this even back in the Grossman/Benson days) Martz's offense can actually be the missing piece to improve Lovies D if we can just get the right personal in it.
