One writer on Rotoworld has us ranked as the 7th best roster in a power ranking going by the personal on the teams at this moment in time. Evan Silva-Pre-Draft NFL Lineup Rankings Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Im just a plumber(a moron) so I am not sure how to link the article from the site. Maybe Terrtool or Alaskan Frizzy can help.

It is admirable that all on this board, while there are occasional disagreements, are all united in their passion for the Chicago Bears. I for one very much enjoy this board; I enjoy the different takes on many subjects, I enjoy many poster's thought processes. I enjoy having the chance to discuss one of the outlets (the Bears) in my life that helps relieve the stress that comes with working and everyday life. While I don't always agree with everyone, I do appreciate all that you bring to this message board. For all that, I wish all of you and your families the very best this holiday season. I hope for a bright new year for all. Happy Holidays!!

There isn't a chance in hell that Zack Miller plays a single down this year. He may never play again, period. But the Bears signed him to a league minimum one year deal. A classy move on the Bears' part to help a player who gave them everything he had when healthy. I'd love to see him fulfill his dream of returning to the game, but have serious doubts it will be physically possible after that type of injury. Hear me out... I was driving to work today thinking about how poor the production from every other WR has been. There is no doubt that Cutler has zeroed in on Marshall to the point of ignoring other WRs and forcing it into multi-player coverage on Marshall, but how has it really affected the other players who get significant receptions? Forte is significantly down (on pace for 38 rec). Sanz is significantly down (on pace for 2 rec. Hester is even (on pace for 26 rec). Davis is very slightly down (on pace for 19 rec). Bennett is slightly up (on pace for 29 rec). I know Knox's numbers last year and Alshon's early season production this year skew thin…

Barnett was quite good the last two years. was going to make 3.5 at 31. Resign Roach(not terrible) and give Barnett a couple mil for a couple of years and stick him at SLB. Then draft a guy in the 4th or 5th round and grove him for Roaches job next year.

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...mully19.article Since Angelo and Smith got together in 2004 27 defensive players have been drafted. How many starters last year from those 27? A whopping 4, Tommie Harris, Zach Bowman, Al Alfalava, and Danieal Manning...That track record sucks. I don't care what industry you are in, a 15% hit rate is pathetic. Now cue the Angelo supporters saying how great his late round special team gems are...

Guys I have a question that I have been torn with all week in 1 of espn leagues. It is a non-ppr league. I have Clinton Portis and Ryan Torain but Laurence Maroney is also available. I need 2 start 1. I know none of them are good options.

So that we have addressed some needs how will it translate to a winning season? Here is my take on what needs to happen, with our players on offense LT=Williams/St.Clair LG=Adams/St.Clair/Oakley C=Kreutz/Beekman RG=Garza/Oakley/Beekman RT=Tait/Barton 1 WR=Booker/Bennet 2 WR=Bradley/Monk 3 WR=Davis/Hester/Hass TE=Clark TE=Olsen TE=Davis QB=Grossman,Ortan,Hill FB McKie, Runnels RB Forte, Benson Peterson,Wolfe(Either Benson will be on IR or Wolfe might be left out

Louis Delmas Would look great in a Bears Jersey, especially since we have a more experienced Aaron Rodgers, Percy Harvin, Pettigout and Stafford to contend with next year.

"people may scoff but if we win out we will be 9-7" to which I kept saying .....and? or .......so what?, Has he been told or it's been implied that if we win out and finish above 500 it will make things alright and he gets to keep his job? 1. that is a pipe dream, we barely beat the hapless Rams by 8 points (who more beat themselves than we beat them) so now we think that we can beat GB, Balt, Det, and Minny. Dream on Smith, we will get 1 win maybe two if we can somehow beat Balt (Even Minny's scrubs could probably beat us.). 2. to what point and purpose would be accomplishing 9-7 in covering the fact that there are major holes to fill on this team includi…

With Minnesota's win over Washington, and now at 4-5. Your Chicago Bears are now in last place. The only saving grace is we will get the easiest schedule in 2015.

...and to our hated rivals. Thanks Bears. Way to show your pride. This team is a joke. And we're all being played for fools. I guess we can't help it. I'll watch the downfall all season long...and just trying to enjoy what Forte and a few others bring to the show. I eagerly await our new coaching staff...which probably won't be in 3 years. Until then, it will be painful.

Monday 23, the NFL owners will meet in California. Usually they award the compensatory picks during the second day of the meetings, so it won't be long until we find out if we get a 3rd or 4th from Berrian. We will possibly get 2 extra 7th's also from the loss of Gilmore and Ayebadajo. This meeting will also be interesting to see if any info leaks out about how the owners will deal the the CBA and possible work stoppage. From what I've heard, they are planning on gaining more control that was lost to the players union in the last CBA. Hopefully out of it all, we have football and the put a cap on rookie contract.

  17. Since our #49 pick is essentially our #1 pick, I'm curious to see who the mocksters have us taken. I found one updated mock but it still has us taking Duke Robinson. Not that I would mind seeing us take the Duke, but we've already added 3 good offensive lineman. We have far more pressing needs at WR, safety & DE.

I want to say that I'm not a fan of Pagano. I think he's more conservative than Fangio, and Fangio was too conservative for my liking. Pagano goes into a damn prevent half way through the 3rd quarter with a lead. He makes easy wins too interesting. Look no further than the Dallas game for proof. I'm very disappointed in his first season as I was expecting a more aggressive DC than Fangio.

I have to say I saw this coming. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-goal-line.html It may be minor right now, but when we get later in the season and Bush has half as many carries but just as many TDs, expect more rumblings from Forte.
