Eric Berry, fantasy guru, was just on ESPN FT and said that Hester is the biggest sleeper in FF this year. He led the Bears in times targeted last year, and had 8+ FF points in 4 of the Bears last 6 games. I agree with him. I'll be laughing by season's end when Hester is a 1100 yard receiver and I get him in round 10.

With 2 grown sons with lives of their own it was extremely cool to hangout with them at Soldier's Field Sat Nite.The practice was crisp and high-paced. Looked like a lot of work was done on working the edges and what looked like a turn in slant that almost resembles a Wr screen. The WR that is on the roster that I believe should get a shot at the spot that Marquiss Wilson was holding is Spurlock he looked decent in the practice Sat Nite. After seeing this, I wouldn't care if the Bears made an incredibly lopsided trade that lost picks to get Terrell Suggs. He is now my favorite non-Bear in the NFL.

Anyone know what's the deal on this guy? He was KCs third round pick this year. Played CB for Notre Dame but looked as though he could play Safety in the pros. Ran a 4.4 / 40. Missed one year (2014) at ND due to "academic improprieties" and came back to play in 2015. Mike Mayock said this about Russell's suspension: "...missed the entire 2014 season with an academic issue that would have been a one-game suspension at most other schools." So there are a lot of folks trying to figure out why he was released. Some think it may be that he's having a hard time with football IQ. Anyone here follow ND football and maybe know or see something that better explains this?

Stats so far: Mitchell Trubisky - 34-48, 354, 70.8%, 7.4, 3-0 Mike Glennon - 26-44, 243, 59.1%, 5.5, 2-2 Glennon is a lock for opening day at this point, and will probably start the first few games. He definitely has some red flags that come out in the stats. 11% less in completion percentage (and he had easier throws), almost 2 yds less per attempt (dink and dunk game plan in game 2) and a TD-INT of 1:1. Those are all bad. You won't win very many games with those numbers. For the completion pct, that puts Glennon between Siemian and Osweiler/Bortles from 201. When I watched the game against the Raiders I noted that Roy Williams looked faster than just about every other WR out of breaks in the pregame. And during the game he was open several times and just didn't see the ball. Why that happened is anyone's guess, but I'm 99% sure it's because he wasn't the first read and there wasn't enough time to get to the second read consistently. With Knox out, it appears that Williams is the #1 read and target...and was open. 6 catches for 81 yards could have easily been 7 for close to 100 if one other pass wasn't chucked at his feet. Apparently the Browns restructured Myles Garrett's contract, so if we traded for him, this would be our cap number for him: 2026 $9.1M 2027 $17M 2028 $21.3M 2029 $58M OR $5M dead cap to cut him 2030 $58M OR Nothing to cut him Those are three VERY affordable years for Myles Garrett, and a $5M out after that. This makes him very affordable for us. The only question is what will the Browns need in trade to eat all that cap. Very interesting.
