Found this while checking out the Bears website so since it's a bit slow I figured I'd put it up here. If nothing else it should give Nfol an excuse to add 10 more posts to his HOF quest. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=4492 How well do you know the Bears? A backup but we need the depth somewhere. Hope that lock down Hicks, would make for a good offseason.

  5. http://www.vsngaming.com/2008/12/simulatin...ldcard-weekend/ What is your guys' take on the results? The only one I disagree with is that the Eagles are not going to lose to the Vikings. After the impressive show they put on last week, I just dont think it'll happen.

  7. Started by ASHKUM BEAR,

Down to a few days until Black Monday. I am ready to put an end to the season and see how devoted the Bears ownership is to selling their product to the greatest fan base in the NFL. I have to say I will not be satisfied with their actions unless they put a football mind in charge of all decisions. The coaching staff has to go, which is easy because the players will never buy into them again. Emery may survive, he has made costly mistakes, but with structure above him and a competent coach below him, he may be servicable. If they drop only the coaches and Phillips and Emery survive, I will be highly disappointed and would expect more mediocrity and expect to see more wome…

  8. Since upgrading to IE 11 the text in the box you type in to post messages has run off the right side of the screen rather than wrapping around to begin a new line on the left of the box. It was very annoying. The solution is simple. If you have this happening go to the menu item TOOLS and select Compatibility View Settings. Click the ADD button to add this site to the list. Problem solved.

INJURY REPORT AND IMPLICATIONS Chicago Bears (0-0) at Green Bay Packers (0-0) By Michael Nudo The Packers are eager to get rookie B.J. Raji into the action (Getty Images). BEARS OFFENSE vs. PACKERS DEFENSE The Bears’ offense is in good health entering the first contest. The only injury of note is backup running back Kevin Jones (ankle), who was lost in the final game of the preseason. Garrett Wolfe and Adrian Peterson will pick up the backup running back reps. New starters include tackles Orlando Pace and Chris Williams as well as guard Frank Omiyale on the offensive line. Second-year wide receiver Earl Bennett goes from a zero catch rookie seaso…

I know that's what I hear every time I watch Chicago try to pass block.

Just an article by Brad Biggs in the Trib. If someone could please post the article for me. I can't as I'm using my phones internet. Basically states that Titans faxed us for permission to interview Tice for O-cord and we have denied that reguest. I am glad we did. Would have been tough if he had left.

No matter who the Bears select in the draft, they will most likely have a bad defense next year. That is almost a lock. So, what if the team just said, "Screw it. Let's try to get the young guys more playing time, coach them up, let them develop, and see what we have? Pick up a few free agents to fill in holes. In the meantime, let's improve the best part of our team, the offense." RD1 - Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford - Starts day 1. Mills rides the pine. RD2 - Hroniss Grasu, C, Oregon - Starts at C, moves Garza over to G, or the bench. RD3 - Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma - If he drops (lots of speculation), this is a monster steal. Great addition. RD4 -…

INJURY REPORT AND IMPLICATIONS Chicago Bears (2-2) at Detroit Lions (0-3) By Michael Nudo The Bears are likely going to be missing leading receiver Brandon Lloyd (AP Photo/Nam Y.Huh). BEARS OFFENSEcolor> vs. LIONS DEFENSEcolor> The Bears were pleased wide receiver/return specialist Devin Hester (rib) returned to action last week. He arrived in the nick of time, as leading receiver Brandon Lloyd left the game with a knee injury. Lloyd’s injury didn’t look season ending. He didn’t seem to suffer a stability related injury. It looked more like his knee hit the turf pretty hard. Marty Booker (knee) is also banged up. The Bears brought back receiver M…

Tress Way and Chad Rempel were waived and Darius Reynaud and CB Thompson were signed. So this means that O'Donnell is our new punter and Hartson is the new long snapper unless we bring in someone else. Reynaud is going to be in a battle with Williams, Edwards,Ford,Spurlock and maybe even Holmes for the PR/KR job.But i think Edwards,Ford,Spurlock will be cut. Thompson being brought in is a head shaker IMHO...why do we need him???
