  2. Vincent Jackson to only miss four games if traded Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on September 16, 2010 1:56 PM ET A potential trade of Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson just got easier. Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that Jackson will only miss four games at the start of the 2010 season, should he get traded anytime soon. (Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune also has the news.) Jackson remains suspended three games by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Jackson was also set to miss an additional three games after he reported to a team because he was placed on the Chargers roster exempt list. But the NFL and NFLPA met Thur…

A friend of mine listening to the radio in LA, heard some mention of a Favre news conference today in an hour. I'm trying to see if it's BS, or moreso something about the potential Vincent jackson trade to MIN. I'm scouring for more info... After talking more w/ my friend, I think it's probably just his weekly news conference and nothing more. I'm sure it'd be all over the internet if it were something more.

Bears try to make it 2 straight against the Boys, in the house that Jerry Jones built. Here's your game thread.

Listening to a clip from an interview with Jay Cutler on the Waddle and Silvy show on WMVP AM 1000(ESPN Radio) DA was held out of most of the action because he was held out of practice during the week because he had some knee issues and general soreness. He then went on to say that if you are not on the field in practice you can't be expected to contribute much in the game. The reporter Jeff Dickerson who is this station's Bears beat reporter and has been covering the team since camp began threw in his two cents and said that he felt that he thought that his crucial drops in the previous game had something to do with his receiving only one snap this week. I for one think …

  10. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/ChalkTalk...p?story_id=4853 Seeing a recent “Chalk Talk” question about the possibility of Brett Favre playing for the Bears got me wondering: How many of the 1985 Bears went on to play for the Packers? I know Jim McMahon is one player who definitely suited up for Green Bay after leaving the Bears. David K. Milwaukee, Wisconsin Four members of the 1985 Super Bowl XX champion Bears later played for the Green Bay Packers: Quarterbacks Jim McMahon and Mike Tomczak, defensive tackle Steve McMichael and linebacker Jim Morrissey. McMahon won a Super Bowl ring as Brett Favre’s backup in 1996. When the Packers were honored at the …

"Dent told us of the time he became a free agent in 1994. "I got a call from Reggie White and he asked me to sign with the Packers. I told him I just could never put on a Green Bay uniform. I hated Green Bay and I could never wear their colors." I wish McMichael could say the same thing.

So far in 2 games he exceeded all expectations of this year in passing, Its phenominal to see this on a bears team. I never have seen this in 1/2 century of existance. Game 1. 108.3 Game 2. 136.7 If this persists we maybe in for quite a year.

Some people are just capable of doing something amazing in their lives. Some run, sing, play the piano, etc. Idiot savant stuff. Tillman has been able to strip a ball since, I suspect, birth. I can picture it now... His big brother comes up, grabs a toy from Tillman. P-Nut calmly tracks his brother down from behind, and rips the ball clean.

In our last 4 games dating back to last year we are undefeated, 4-0. Are we getting spoiled? No turnovers for the Bears against Dallas was the key to victory.

    1. Devin Hester is a true reciever. He had several big plays today and looked the part like never before. Lets hope this continues. 2. Mike martz can adjust a game plan. His changing up the game plan was masterfull. Knowing his line was in trouble he took it out of the lines hands started the quick passing game that did not require a lineman to hold his block. Absolutely Genius. I say Genius because I never seen it from a Team in chicago before. Great win. No last minute blow ups. Truely a coaching win.
