If anybody has watched GB, I think we can sympathize with their o line woes. Rodgers has been sacked more than twice as many times as Cutler yet GBs offense is ranked 11th while we're at 21. Man, if we beat the Eagles, I can't see how we would've lost to either the Rams or Saints. The Rams won without Gurley and beat the Saints in New Orleans. We've had mixed feelings about this ball club now sense our Superbowl run 2 years ago. We are still grasping at a shot of redemption with our fingernails this year and if it weren't for a couple plays, the "NFL" world would be mentioning the Bears with the Giants and Panthers as favorites to go to the big show. Going into this draft I think about Emery+Trestman vs. Angelo+Lovie. If it were still Angelo and Lovie, I'd wonder a few things: 1) Would Lovie be making all the picks but one like usual? 2) Would he be ignoring his scouts and overall team needs to placate a coach? 3) Which pool-jumping dickhead is on his radar? 4) Which small school DB are they enamored with? Benson has been a total waste which ive preached since the day he was drafted. He's slow, a pussy, has poor work ethic and from what we read his teammates hate his ass. I know the draft is a crap shoot but well have to take the chance hes an instant upgrade to the friggin Bass. And from the other post about him losing a step... wow how much slower could he possibly get. Haha. Well have to shore up the Oline with FA, take some guys who fall into the later rounds. Yesterday I listened to Lovie's press conference: http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/mul...lip=Y&rn=17 and when he was talking about the WRs (5min mark) he suddenly stopped and said "he's excited to see what Greg Olsen can do in his new role, and his role is changing." Lovie usually doesn't say anything beyond his usual cliches so for him to go out of his way to mention Olsen like this means there is something to it. What is his new role? Anyone heard about this? Anyone seeing anything at camp? From the Trib video all I've seen so far was that he lined up wide, outside the WR, on one play. Not sure if that means much as he lined up some at WR…
