It's been one preseason game and one training camp in the books, and Emanuel Hall already ejected. I see two players on the bubble that, barring injury I don't think they make the 53. Kwiatkoski looked slow while Kevin Pierre-Louis looked good. Maybe he was out of position on occasion but he stayed with plays and showed more ability to recover than Kwit. We had some debate about this over the offseason. I felt at the time since we were seeing Mizzell take snaps away from Cohen even in the playoff game that coaches felt he was maxed out. Looks like they want to pare things down even more from what he did last year. This might explain why we went after Patterson which I don't think anyone was expecting. For all intents and purposes training came and preseason are over. Other than setting a few of the last of the 53 man roster we know who is going to be on this team. As a fan I would like to know what you all expect. Best case and worst case. Baring any injuries to the starting 25 or so. If Mack goes down, or Mitch all bets are off. A receiver or running back gets lost all bets are off. But if this team can keep it's core in tack what are yo'ur realistic expectations for this season. What would be successful season or a failure. The news is that we are trying to get one of them. Both have a big price tag and both would cost a draft pick. I would be good with either—but not at that cost. I really have no preference. I gotta admit that I was hoping for Marcus Marriota. But it looks like he’s signing with the Raiders.

Hard to believe we're getting close. Interested where people are at with this draft, so figured I would shoot out some questions: 1. Player(s) you'd love to see the Bears land. 2. Players(s) you do not want to see the Bears draft. 3. Player you are most wary/nervous of the Bears drafting. 4. Should the Bears draft a QB? If so, when? 5. Player you don't want to see drafted by another NFC North team. 6. Player you irrationally love. 7. Early round bust. 8. Late round steal. 9. Player who will go at least two rounds later than everyone thinks. 10. Player who will go at least two rounds earlier than everyone thinks.

Based on a few of the other depth guys we picked up, we are going to have a killer Special Teams unit.

So thru 3 rounds, this is what we are looking at: DET - Decent draft but missed opportunity to take Tua and/or trade Stafford, or trade down 1. Okudah, CB - basically replaces Slay, good for salary cap, but team really doesn't improve much. Highest DB ever selected, passed on Tua 2.
