This play pretty much sums up the offense in Game 1. In the 1st Quarter, 3rd and 9 from the GB 39, the Bears come out trips left and keep 7 in to protect and still allow a sack with 2 extra blockers. At 5-4, a win against MIN on MNF is the only way we have a chance at the playoffs. If the Bears lose and go to 5-5, the season is over. However, I think they win and go to 6-4 into the bye. If they do, they still have work to do in the highly competitive NFC. There is a chance that 7 teams win 10 games and the 7th team doesn't make the playoffs. Here is the main competition for the playoffs: 1. New Orleans 7-2, currently 1st in Division, but lost Brees for several weeks. The 1985 season, for me, was bliss. That team had the best D ever (IMdO) and Jimmy Mac, when healthy, was dangerous with Sweetness next to him. So, my question is, what would those 1985 Ditka led Beras have to say to the 2018 Naggy led kids? What would Buddy Ryan have to say to Fangio? Would they have wanted the orange jerseys? What would Butt Head tell Parkey? Just to have those guys together and compare, I'd love to be the fly on the wall.

This weekend, I played GM for the Bears in an online 7 round mock draft. I had my fantasy draft in my 15 year old 12 team league. Needless to say, my buds are experienced and ruthless competitors. Anyway, they dogged my draft strategy this year, while I thought I was ahead of the curve. I'm going 0-16. Marshall is a woman beater, Cutler is a pussy, all of their FA's are either back-ups or ST players, their draft is already the worst ever, and Lovie is a douche. I dont think they keep Foles, as much as they have to pay him, they will need the roster spot. They show us keeping Nall, but why? Lots of talent in this group , they will need the roster spot. I think they dont keep Joel Iggy and instead keep Josh Woods, a better ST player. The extra two roster spots go to S Jordon Lucas and another CB in Duke Shelly. Both play STs and Shelly could be starting at NB with Vidor or Trufant starting at the other CB spot opposite Johnson.
