Looks like the defense got the better of Caleb today. This is good, because you want Caleb to have to learn the NFL speed now rather than later in games. I think we all agreed a few weeks back that having a great defense to go against in practice is going to make our offense better faster, and not have to learn on the fly during games as much. Here's hoping Caleb strikes back and wins some days soon too

I have had several requests to lock the Webb thread so that it will roll off the page and we can get onto more important issues, things like the 2013 Bears and trying to make the playoffs. If anyone has major objections I can open it back up. Hopefully we can bury this and move on.

Detroit lost both starting tackles, there best pass rusher, there other DE and there starting safety. They added Jones/DE. Quin/FS and Bush. Bush is an upgrade but lost in the exchange of other players. Stafford does not play well under pressure.

I believe one of cutlers problems is he does not pump the ball. I've always got on the Bear's qb for not pumping the ball. P.Manning does it up to 3 times a play sometimes I'm always see Big Ben do it, Farve,Brees and many other do it consistantly. I believe 2 red zone ints could of went for td's if he'd pump it once.I know our line sucks,but there are times where I'm yelling at cutler to pump the damn ball,it works, it works, it works. I've been reading some good things about Al Louis-Jean and got curious about his background.
