Not sure how many people have seen the article today on the Trib's website however, William "The Refrigerator" Perry is struggling financially due to the fact of the disease he was diagnosed with in June 2008. The disease is Guillan Barre Syndrome, which is a nervous system disease. Perry also has CIDP as well, which only makes things a bit worse for Perry. Talks about how little we have used Cutler on rollouts, bootlegs and such. Turner says it was part of the original plan, but they just got away from the plan. Anyway, as so many here have screamed to use Cutler in such a way, this article is right up that alley.

So, if the Bears are well under the salary cap this year, why wouldn't/couldn't they just do the following: -Sign Forte, and make a large chunk of the contract go towards this year's cap -Have multiple years of a cheaper Forte Seems like this, if permissable, would kill two birds with one stone.

Offense: Overall Gase did a good job especially considering he had to work with a limited Alshon Jeffrey and Royal was out again. There are still gaps on the roster that need to be fixed but more on that later. Considering what he's working with on our Oline, WR, and the backup RBs (not that they were a problem) against a very fast defense he called a good game. With Charles Tillman retiring, I wanted to share my favorite Peanut story. On Nov 25, 2007, the Bears hosted the Broncos. Most people remember this game because Devin Hester had a kickoff and punt return for touchdowns. I remember it for another reason. The Bears were down by 7 points with under a minute left. One target in last two games (it was a catch by the way). That is absolute insanity. Waldron and offensive coaching staff is really irking me. Just like start of season where they went completely away from him…we come off the bye and the guy who catches everything thrown at him literally has 1 target in 2 games. Insane.

I'm thinking of signing up for NFL Field Pass so I can listen to the Bears broadcast call rather than the idiots that normally call the games. I do have a program that can record audio from an application so the thought came to mind to record the games and replace the audio with the Bears announcers. Would make for a cool option on a DVD to select either the original broadcast audio or the Bears call. I can usually get the broadcast on the radio but the signal comes and goes. Has anyone here had it in the past, has it this year and has an opinion on whether it's worth it or not?

Linebacker is a definite strength of this 2009 version of the Chicago Bears. Lance Briggs is a perennial Pro Bowler, Brian Urlacher is one of the better middle backers in the game, and newly named starting strongside LB Pisa Tinoisamoa has me wondering what the Rams were thinking in releasing him. Tinoisamoa (does this guy have a nickname yet) has quickly become a fan favorite. His speed and big hits have endured him to the fans, and his versatility (he played weakside LB in the past) could pay dividends in the long run.
